Giants are spending like it's going out of style.
They let Snacks go, refuse to pay Mo, are scared to pay Sheldon and drafted a meh rookie. What was the point of building and destroying the D-Line? Now we're left with maybe Sheldon, Williams and a convenient excuse to AGAIN go D-Line this year. Its gonna be hard to give bucks to Sheldon Richardson and Wilkerson. They gonna have to decide

This organization is never gonna value picks the way they should.
This offseason I'm not as upset about the guys we're losing simply because we'll be trash anyway and guys are going above what the Jets can afford. However, the issues with drafting and scouting continue to burn this team. They should have probably taken Beasley instead of WIlliams...but you cant pay Harrison that much money for a guy who provides nothing as a pass rusher. We're still making up for two previous regimes mistakes...
Even though Mac went a little over the top in the signings last year. But didnt you want Revis at all costs? Look at the league now...the only two positions that aren't interchangeable are elite QB's and pass rusher...and we have neither.

Last year was a different situation. The team needed to stop being sorry. This offseason it doesn't matter what they do. It's not gonna matter regarding next year.
The team played well vs shyt teams, stop making Fitz THE factor for us bot being trash when in all likelihood, no matter who is at qb next season will struggle playing with an old decaying offenseThe team wont be trash assuming Fitzpatrick is back. Still too much talent that can still produce assuming they stay healthy. The coaching is also improved from the previous regime.
They do need to draft better, but we all know this already. Plus they have a bunch of money off the books next year too. And maybe we'll get lucky and Brady retires sometime this century.

No...you're making a guy who beat a banged up Pats team & the Skins being the only over .500 team THE factor as to why we won't be trash next season. That's rubbish.I'm not making him the lone factor. But a veteran presence who we know can produce at least an average baseline is better than a guy with no career starts. The offense assuming they're all back will be at least average.
The defense needs to play better, specifically the secondary. There's too much money locked into Revis and Skrine for them not to be great at what they do.

I don't think Petty gets in before Geno number one. Number two, you're now moving the goalpost to the "degrees" of stink rather than the outright stink the Jets will be regardless of qb.If the Jets start Petty next year there's a much more likely possibility they stink than with bringing Fitzpatrick back.
