Fitz has had years, including last year, far beyond anything Geno has shown himself capable of reaching.
Obviously fans are going to want the more talented player to play
Fitz is 7 of 13 with 0 TDs.
Geno is 14 of 27 with 1 td and 1 int.
Neither has looked good.

Fitz has barely played or practiced. to say Fitz deserves to be killed already is crazy
Forget all these agendas you think people have and your personal feelings if Geno is what you and other say he is and a better option then Fitz then the Jets will start him
If he doesn't then the people who watch them everyday truly don't beleive he's a better option which tells you all you need to know about Geno as a qb
Geno has never played with a talented roster. Fitz has.

So we can't judge a 34 year old qb whos had a shyt ton of opportunities throughout his career but we can judge a young qb who played on awful teams with very little talent on either side of the ball?
2nd your last sentence is nonsense. As if every coaching staff is infallible. Macc and Bowles haven't proven anything in this league to say their word determines what a player is. Like coaching staffs all over the league haven't been dead wrong about players before.

With what Fitz did in this offense last year he has a leg up so for Geno to win the job he's gonna have to outplay him and look good which he hasn't

He's not some young unknown quantity. This is his 4th season and he's played ALOT.

Fitz is coming off of 31 tds 15 int's so Geno is gonna have to really outplay him in the preseason to consider starting him. Hasn't happened so far

He can make throws that fitz can't. Simple as that.
I'd rather start geno and let him play with the talent that he's never played with and give him 1 last shot then roll out fitz who we know isn't good enough and has an entire career that proves it.
Nobody is saying geno is the answer. Nobody. All any of us have said is we would like to see him get a chance with this new regime to start.

He improved from year 1 to 2. We haven't seen him since. Except in 1 oakland game where had to come in cold and still put up the same type of numbers that fitz does in the game.
