If you don't need any further proof than the downright toxic way the fan base treats geno look no further than the reactions to him throwing 1 int.

I'd honestly like to see petty get a chance against the 1's or 2's.
That would tell us a lot more. But he looked like ass against those same 3rd stringers and udfas last preseason .

Fitz is garbage and most of us would rather go with youth. Wether that be geno or petty. I'd rather watch geno,petty or hack start than him.
He's a career loser. What exactly are we gaining by starting fitz? He's not the best option.

It wasn't just the 1 pick though, he was inaccurate on almost every throw. Threw balls directly into the ground and had a really dumb intentional grounding penalty
I think a lot of the fans reactions to his poor play is due to the ppl who refuse to acknowledge the mountain of tape and evidence suggesting he's not any good.
I'd imagine its frustrating to have to listen to ppl clamor for a guy who's continuously shown he's not a starting caliber guy

There's a mountain of tape and evidence that shows fitz will never be a good qb and will never lead a team anywhere. Yet the same people determined to hate geno believe fitz is our best option.

Fitz played well last year
I know he shyt the bed in the buffalo game but as a whole he was pretty good. The team and wr's love him and demanded he come back Is he a great option? Hell no but to say Geno is a better option at this point makes no sense

There's no hate after last night because he had 2 possessions stopped on outright drops and one on a completed pass for a first down that ended in a fumble. Anyone judging him on a throw by throw basis right now is clueless. He's barely played.
