The fact we still don't have a real back up C to this day is
If Mangold goes down we are fukked. We don't even really have a good back up for Breno who isn't even good in the first place and is still hurt.
I wouldnt hate trying to get Hackenberg on the PS. If he's been truly that bad I doubt he'd be on someones active roster all year anyways. A second round pick for a guy who who cant even get practice reps is a BAD look for Maccganan.

I like what I've seen from Petty so far. He's always had an arm, so that doesn't surprise me. But he's been very sharp, and has shown alot of poise and great pocket presence. Also good decision making. Granted it's only the preseason, but it's a good start. I definitely think he has a roster spot locked up

It's early on Prescott, but the QB Base projection model liked him a lot. It also despised Hackenberg. I'm not there yet, but Im losing a wee bit of faith in Maccagnan. Especially with crazy Charlie Casserly's recent hot takes.
