Actually, America is one of the most violent countries in the world. So it's not really that "safe".

I think the problem with this country is that it encompasses too much space. If it was actually sectioned off like a real continent, the states would be countries in themselves (which due to the individual governments and the laws surrounding could be considered almost like such) and all of the crimes and whatnot would be restricted to those seperate countries/states/entities.

Since the whole thing is considered a country an the amount of guns reigistered and unregistered with a focus on crimes and incidents of police related violence (also given it's culture and the art of violence as a tool of incitement in the media), America can be considered really violent. Even if most people don't think of it as a such when they live in a neighborhood where crime is non-existent...and can be literally miles away from an area where gang and drug related violence creates and atmosphere where safety is something people wish they have/had.

Cliff notes: it's big and divided in a certain way that amplifies every waking flaw due to it's design. Or maybe the flaws present in America's fabric is the design.

I'll add this...if you're a black person, complain about racism, colorism, and white supremacy and move out of the US only to leave to another white country, I consider that hustling backwards IMGHO.

The alienation that black people feel in Westernized/White countries is way too unique. It reflects a historical demeaning ideology. For Black Men, there is a threat of being a victim of violence/injustice/unfair treatment that comes with the life. For women, I can imagine there are things that can be better or worse. But in general, there are still many countries in the world where due to their own homogenized cultures that would not be a good idea to move to for Black Americans/black people in general. I would say that this is a problem for Westerners in foreign countries, but really White Americans, Europeans, Asians and Indians can really go to other places in the world for the most part and be treated with respect. Muslim/Arabs are discriminated to a certain extent and are scrutinized/met with suspicion. However, Africans and Blacks in general are met in a good amount of those places with violent hatred. There's a possibility that moving to somewhere like a Sweden, Finland, Germany, or a Spain (a EU country that has comparable or higher standards than the US in certain areas) to escape "discrimination" and the effects of westernization in order to feel "human" or whatnot will be met with more levels of racism (direct and indirect) and discrimination than America. Most of those places in my opinion do not welcome multi-culturalism and fight to preserve their own hegemony.

Real Afrocentrics especially from America should go to Africa, try to reconnect to their roots, and use the power of their Western Privilege (financial/education wise/opportunity/network wise) to try to help our brothers and sisters out there. Or atleast go to a country where they aren't the majority. This is the thing. The standard of living is high in those countries compared to other places, they realize that things like medicine, healthcare, clean water, insurance, employment in most African countries outside of South Africa and Nigeria is relatively destabilized due to Imperialism/European influence/Western Influence.

That also proves how European Influence has ravaged the world and it's peoples. Where the countries where the people that would be classified as "minorities" (amongst black people) in Western countries are present in large numbers are the ones still developing, considered "third world", and ripe with problems and still recovering or newly independent from EU rule/colonization.

The real reason I feel these types don't do this is because they hate white supremacy and white society...but honestly still have a love for white people enough to not imagine NOT living around them. I feel like there is a bit of hypocrisy cause they are obviously used to a certain standard of living and lifestyle that can only be provided in the countries they go against.

I personally could honestly. Just for a change of pace and to reconnect myself to my African roots and familiarize myself with the people of the land. In an effort to grow as a human being.

I've noticed that the people hating on the US them most usually haven't traveled outside it for any extended period of time. I'm not talking 1-2 week vacation.
Ironically the people who are extremely and blindly pro-US also more than likely never lived abroad.
Each country or culture has it's unique problems and issues that become more apparent if you're immersed and live within in.
With that being said, the US is overall a better place to live than most. By far

America is a good country but it is not "the best" for me. There really isn't one "best country" for every person. But the truth needs to be said: Intelligent, polished brothers who travel and speak several languages have a "take it and leave it" relationship with America. If things are great in America, no problem. But if better opportunities arise overseas or if America is becoming bad (for whatever your personal circumstances are), you can bounce with no hesitation. Many people with no passport, no language ability, no solid skills are trapped in America. Not only are they ill-prepared to bounce or step outside for a bit, mentally they're not in any place to try something new. So if you only have one home and it burns down, you're homeless. I don't mean literal fire in saying that. I'm more at home in the motherland than America. But then again, that should be of no shock. Interesting thread.

Key word being overall. Again, overall yes, if you have money and can choose where you live, no.

Explain to me why America has majority of the top rated universities

Maybe because America does the ratings? :mjpls: And if you go to most of the top universities in the technical fields, you think the majority of said graduates are American? :mjpls:

because america is the richest country on earth -- they also have the highest funded universities. Their public school funding per capita for the kids is terrible though.
Doesn't matter as long as we are producing high level college graduates from top colleges we will be ok

Countries around the world send their best and brightest to attend school here. A lot of these graduates either ply their trade or practice here.

The name of the country is the United States of America.

Just like the Netherlands was once called the United Provinces: United Provinces - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Or certain lands were called The United Provinces of Central America: Federal Republic of Central America - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Or Argentina was called the United Provinces of South America: United Provinces of the Río de la Plata - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Tacking on "of America" makes it easier to have a noun form, since you can't say "United Statesians."

It's a very common nomenclature. And if you think it's "arrogant" then you are a fukking idiot. Like, objectively. You are an idiot.

You're still an arrogant pig.

And what is this based on? Nothing. I thought so. Stop making baseless assumptions and just accept that Amerikkka isn't that great of a country.
