:dead: @ people thinking Biggie had more flows than Pac. Pac had more flows than Biggie had songs period lmao. It's yet another reason Pac's technical skills are underrated. Biggie actually had a relatively limited amount of flows for a hip hop all time great. People confuse Biggie having a distinct combination of flow and cool voice for having a 'better' flow overall. Biggie damn near always flowed in that way where he breaks up his bars several times, saying a few words at a time. That's not a great range of flows however, that's just a distinct and original flow. Pac had his own distinct and origal flow though and simply has a larger catalogue of more experimental flows to go with it.

Glad u see it,his flow is nice but overated....pac and biggie know how to ride the hell outta a beat...and can switch up they tempo and flow according to just about any beat and still sound dope....sounds simple but alot of elite emcees cant do that shyt...so if biggie get credit for flow pac need sum based on that fact....but at the risk of bein stoned,in terms of flow im dangerously close to saying Takeoff of Migos is superior to biggie...lemme marinate on that for a minute:sas1:

I know it shows versatility..what im sayin is its not like he was the only one out there writing for Kim or writing for a top notch female in general...

I definitely agree there. I wanted to emphasize his versatility. It's rare you get to hear the ghostwriter spit the rhyme/flow they wrote for said artist. Shows how nice he was

2.) @ biggie going 2 for 2.
4.) pac outshined him at MSG
5.) is this something to be proud of?
6.) nope. plus thug life had the best album out of all the spinoffs.
7.) no he didnt
8.) so did pac.....besides, biggie moreso gave a platform to the whore rap that watered-down the sub-genre.
9.) theyre not even trying to hide their new york bias, i see.
10.) i dont see how. and even if he did, thats a bad thing.

lol @ pac outshining big at msg , pac was terrible that day

Not even close. Big had some dope rhyme techniques and RTD is classic. Big never really dropped a wack verse either. But that's where it ends.

People always talk about Pac's legacy improving cuz he died, total bullshyt. He was the undisputed GOAT when he died. Big is really the one who's legacy flourished because of his death.

Think I'm lyin? Big passed right at the beginning of the shiny suit jiggy era. He was already starting w the shiny suits himself, puff woulda had him tap dancing something serious.

Life after death is not very good. A few classic tracks, a few good tracks, and a lot of
skippable tracks.

Pac was light years beyond Biggie.

@Rapmastermind Have you read this article?

Yes but it's another Biggie Vs Pac thing. This is a never ending debate. Let me say this. Biggie was the Better Emcee/Rapper. There's not doubt about it. Pac was the better overall artist cause of the depths of his music and messages. Pac even knew Biggie was the better emcee which is why he tried to bring him on in his crew. I was more wow'ed by Pac as far as his emotion, his passion is why I connected to him as a young black man in America. But Biggie is more like Bruce Lee of Hip Hop to me. It was about his skill-level, he litterally basically has no weakness as an emcee.

Biggie was one of the few rappers that I literally REWINDED his verses cause I was blown how he would phrase certain words and ideas. People will say subject matter but we don't know where Big would of went musically. "Born Again" was rumored to be Biggie's 1st socially consious/political album. Again Biggie was at the Beginning of his career when he died, Pac was more in the middle. I think Biggie did have a higher ceiling than Pac as far where he could of eventually gone. Albums are basically a wash. Biggie was 2/2 and Pac was 2 or 3/5 before their deaths. As for the Junior Mafia Vs Outlaws. Junior Mafia wins off the strength of Lil Kim. Lil Kim is bigger than anyone Pac ever put on. So Biggie changed the game for males and indirectly females.
