They're 2 different kinds of emcee's but if you sit down & compare them from a technical standpoint Pac isn't seeing Big when it comes to actual emceeing. When it comes to lyrics, flow-wise, & ghost writing Pac wasn't on the same level. It doesn't mean Pac wasn't a good emcee because he was. Big was just that much better than everyone when he was alive. Big could write from the female perspective & make it sound crazy. He laid this down for Lil Kim. Listen to this man's flow

1) Biggie was a better lyricist-they both were great in their own way.
2) Biggie went 2 for 2 on his official albums - that's a reason why I think Pac is better. 2 albums isn't gonna cut
3) Biggie was a prolific ghostwriter- ummm.. OK I guess
4) Biggie had a better MSG freestyle- true but freestyling is one part of being an MC.
5) Biggie was the master of the subliminal diss- true
6) Junior Mafia > Outlaws- hell no.
7) Biggie had more flows than 2Pac- true
8) Biggie gave a platform to female MCs- what?
9) Biggie was the King of NY- and PAC was the king of the biggest state.
10) Biggie set the blueprint for today's biggest rap stars - so did Pac

there is no one above another.

others may join them...but you will never surpass them. Their time is cemented in history ..they already did it.

The only way to judge them is to exist outside of time. Because even if you lived during their runs..you will never be that age again..existing exactly as you were in that era

I remember hearing Fukk tha Police for the first time and realizing hiphop will forever change after this..

if i was in my 20s or 30s then....maybe that song has a different impression on me

:dead: @ people thinking Biggie had more flows than Pac. Pac had more flows than Biggie had songs period lmao. It's yet another reason Pac's technical skills are underrated. Biggie actually had a relatively limited amount of flows for a hip hop all time great. People confuse Biggie having a distinct combination of flow and cool voice for having a 'better' flow overall. Biggie damn near always flowed in that way where he breaks up his bars several times, saying a few words at a time. That's not a great range of flows however, that's just a distinct and original flow. Pac had his own distinct and origal flow though and simply has a larger catalogue of more experimental flows to go with it.
