Also Big held his own or outshinned Tupac on every track they did including the Madison SQ Garden. On the Table freestyle I do not fault Pac's kinda laid back verse, he was clearly drunk and that whole point of the video was to showcase Biggie and put him on. Biggie's verse was technically better and ended up being on some future songs. But you have to give Pac credit. He just spit a verse off the dome and it wasn't that bad either:

Some of their 10 were reaches. I would've just said: Better MC, better albums, more legendary verses, more great MCs come from his tree (Jay, The Lox, Cam'ron)

This is something about Big that isn't really talked about. Biggie's family tree is spectacular. In my "Life after Life after death" thread, I showed Big's future impact and influence on Hip Hop after his death.

This is a mismatch. Biggie covered all bases with just 2 albums and had even blown the entire industry out the water with his debut, Pac had to record thousands of songs in panic and get into endless beefs to keep his flame burning. Biggie was already 'king' with a single album and basically had no competition. Biggie unlike Pac was critically acclaimed by his peers who all remarked how incredible he was on the mic, something no one ever said about Pac when he was alive. Pac was crazy enough to try battle Big and that lifted his profile and got his name forever attached to Biggies maing him seem dope. the fact Pac was sweating Biggie and Biggie aint give a shyt about Pac should tell you everything.

he re recorded the album after he got shot, something about it being too much like RTD or something.
And ur wrong as fukk... The album released in February 95 and he was shot in November 94 by the time the album was officially finished...nikka was in jail while the Album released....he switched the album around before he got shot cause he felt Biggie bit the shyt..

Lets get this straight about the family tree shyt...Jay was NOT in Biggies family tree...he just fukked wit Biggie..The Lox and Mase came from Ruff Ryders camp and Diddy picked them up and switched they names...And Cam was from Mase's and Big L's family tree and Mase put him on but he didnt even end up signing with Bad Boy..how we just listing nikkas who was associated wit Biggie or was on the label?...nikkas really need to cut the bullshyt out...none of them nikkas was around due to Biggie..and ALL them nikkas was nice before Biggie...

biggie got his sound on rtd from King tee

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_Tee

"The Notorious B.I.G. influence[edit]
Tee greatly influenced The Notorious B.I.G. with his deep voice, flow and rhyme style, which Big would at times imitate on his 1994 album Ready to Die. Tee later paid homage to Biggie on the track "6 In'a Moe'nin" on his album Thy Kingdom Come, using a similar setup to and vocal samples of Biggie's track "Somebody's Got to Die". Recently, Ice T confirmed in an interview that King Tee was one of B.I.G's favorite MC.[3]"

This is real talk. Biggie was a master of the art of rap. Pac was an attention seeker making a lot of noise, put out tons of material and developed a ton of fans who think he's the GOAT. Kinda similar to a certain rapper that blew up in 2004-2007.
