Chicks in NY are stuck up breh. I've witnessed it 1st hand on so many occasions with my homies. It's come to a point where I be telling them to stop giving these random chicks ego boosts by telling them that're beautiful if they're not going to even have the common courtesy to say thank you.

I wouldn't say all are stuck up but the numbers are high, I wouldn't tell a chick she's beautiful when i first meet her but compliments are ok. Women are confusing creatures breh one minute they're complaining about street harassment then in the same breath they talk about how they can't get a man, where's all the good men?, guys don't approach me :mindblown:. IMO race plays a big issue in this discussion most of the dudes that are targeted for street harassment are black and latino that live in the inner city.

No no no, they aren't the targets. The white guys just have "audio issues." :troll:

It comes down to a few things....

1. Absolutely street harassment exists, and women are right to speak up about it.
2. I don't like that this woman walked around minority neighborhoods to showcase street harassment. As if this never happens in Williamsburg or Astoria. I'm not saying it was some deliberate racist attempt but it sure raised questions.
3. This woman walked around NYC for 10 hours and basically ran into 2 creeps. Two out of who knows how many thousands of New Yorkers that day? I hardly think if I ran into 2 a$$holes out of 7 million people, that it would qualify is a pandemic or something.
4. The point about women wanting to set the parameters for everything stands. I get that we men have to jump through hoops on a lot of that shyt, but at some point it gets ridiculous.

And I realize my language in some of these posts is a bit aggressive and trolling, but there's just one big blurry ass line as to what is considered "harassment" when it comes to dealing with women sometimes.

Exactly. Real street harrassment was the dude that was silently following her around. The dude pestering her was borderline, but he eventually got the hint and stopped. The kind of harrassment that should be complained about are dudes walking up and grabbing women by the arm or touching their butts... but this video was trash. They filled a two minute clip with a majority of black and hispanic guys complimenting a woman and found 1 creep and 1 thirsty dude.

The actress in the video is from Pennsylvania.

So a woman walks around Manhattan for 10 hours without a single man laying a hand on her (two people are documented creepjobs though), meanwhile in Farside Rockaway you got shyt like this going down amongst men:

Or how about this shyt going down in a 49ers bathroom amongst strangers:

Those creepjobs sucked, but what this whole thing tells me:

For women, Manhattan is way safer than other parts of the NY area (and also probably a plurality of the rest of the world), yet women are STILL gonna complain.

Go back a 1000 years and walk around a dense metropolis for 10 hours, ladies. Or try that walk out in Afghanistan.

FOH.

Shameful thirsters are hella annoying, but men are still more likely to be murdered than women.

For the women who do get physically assaulted (unlike this video's lady), I do think that's horrible though. I'm not saying the hollering is right, either. It just seems like they're making a lot of hay out of that video.

I've been hit on by gays before. Last electronic music concert I went to, some gay dude tried hitting on me. Dude said some slick fakkit joke about me being on top or some shyt...I just :yeshrug: Then he wanted a hug before I left. I hugged him :yeshrug: As long as he didn't try to fukk me or get my number or no faq shyt, I let that shyt go.

Here's another one. "Stop telling women to smile"

http://stoptellingwomentosmile.com/

Another fake social movement originated in Brooklyn: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/910842827/stop-telling-women-to-smile-around-the-country

These fukking hipsters piss me off. They're pretentious idiots who think they're being forward-thinking and progressive by shedding light on non-issues. Modern feminists and hipsters just make my skin crawl. I visibly get angry when I see this shyt. This.....this 'campaign' which seeks to challenge male-female dynamics will, hopefully, end in futility.

It's surprising how people don't see the differences in trying to pick up a passerby as opposed to a sit-in-or-stay type of location.

Trying to get someone's number who walked passed the barbershop or at the library?

Your intentions might be sound but the scenario is what puts stuff like this video into the creep basket.

this shyt annoyed me man....i've seen a couple of these videos before and it's always the same shyt...dudes saying hi or giving a normal compliment...no one is touching or grabbing these females...or disrespecting them verbally...

so how the fukk is it harassment? these videos are basically "watch how much attention I can get in tight clothes today"....these chicks ain't foolin nobody...

why not use an unattractive overweight chick? not someone with curves and a pretty face to prove a point.....oh wait...that won't work

That's what's so idiotic about it all. These women wear attention whore outfits and then get mad when they receive attention... but then they're going to get mad and depressed when men give them what they want and stop giving them attention and say how men need to 'man up and be more aggressive and approach more.' This is the insanity of modern feminism.

Pretty much. It's pathetic. This is the 'social issue of the day' for these modern feminists. Guys telling them to smile or complimenting them when they wear attention garnering outfits. Pure insanity.

A lot of women = Joe DiMaggio.

Joe DiMaggio's two biggest fears:

1. That someone might ask him for his autograph.
2. That no one will ask him for his autograph.

"These men need to leave me alone!" :birdman:
"Why are men so afraid to approach me???" :sadbron:

That's an oversimplification of a complex problem, admittedly.
But I can't help trolling. :manny:

:wow:

This 2 minute clip is culled from 10 hours of footage in one of the busiest cities in the world with a woman wearing skin tight clothing to show off her body. In the clip, I see one thirsty dude who is following her and being overly persistent, one creepy stalker who is following her, and the rest are composed of black and latin men giving her compliments and not pursuing or doing anything else as she ignores them and keeps walking. I don't see the huge issue, other than the one weirdo who is following her for 5 minutes. Editing footage like that, you can pretty much make whatever point you feel. I can put on a fancy suit, a bunch of jewelry, walk through a busy city, film selective women gawking and make comments and then talk about how I was 'being harrassed.' If this is the best they can do after 10 hours of footage, then I don't see some sort of pandemic. I fail to see what's so wrong with giving a woman a compliment in a public setting or saying hello. Grabbing her arm or following her around if she doesn't feel you... THAT'S street harrassment.
