but mannn that right

These guys are all casuals when it comes to boxing. The count is done by ring counter outside the ring. The ref looks at him to get the count of when to start. That's why sometimes they move the other fighter out the way first and then start at like 4.....5.....6

Example here...you can see the ref put wilder in the corner, look back the ring counter to see what # he is on :10

:08 is where you can see the guy counting

99.9% of the people that watch these mega fights are casuals and don't follow boxing, that's why you see all these dumbass talking about a "slow count by the ref".

Don't listen to Ward, he had money on the fight. You could see how pissed he was when Wilder got knockout.

I think Wilder came in big for the last fight because he knew Fury was coming in big. Fury talked about coming into the fight at 300 lbs. He was going to maul Wilder and use his weight to bully him. Wilder knew that, and decided to bulk up too.

I agree that Wilder is at his best when he's around 215-220. But at the same token I don't think he would have been able to hurt Fury at that weight, nor would he have been able to absorb the punishment Fury dished out. If he didn't come in heavier then he would have been stopped sooner :manny:

facts.

Nah them blows was heavy, and they knocked him a bit. Sometimes dudes don’t look at all rattled until they try get up and their knees buckle. That’s why Fury was sitting on the canvas. He was playing it smart and buying his time. He knew what he was doing. If you get up to quick off a strong punch it can make you fallout.

there are some boxers that are just built to go the distance in the ring, like Anthony Mundine. They just wear their opponents down. Wilder did good to slug it out as long as he could but if he broke his hand he had no chance really. His only chance was to keep delivering them right hand blows.
I should've clarified. The blow to the top of the head did damage to Fury (and probably Wilder's hand) but the second you can see nothing really landing besides the punch to the back of the head but I don't think Fury was hurt but more overwhelmed.
I mentioned earlier that Fury was using his time wisely when he was down

Neutral corner was at the start of the count but what happened from 5 to 6 brehs

It's because he WASNT in the neutral corner, look how Wilder runs back to the neutral corner bc he knows the count is stopped until he does. This isn't anything new. Gotta understand the rules before tryna come up with conspiracies. Just like the person that made this vid doesn't understand that a ten count is not the same as ten seconds.

It’s crazy cause Wilder has that baddest man on the planet persona…but Fury stay having him look literally like a baby in ring. Dude be all wide eyed and gasping for air with a terrified look on his face. nikka be out there looking like a newborn.

People talking about wilder's new weight but I think the above is most likely why he was so gassed (we kinda saw him looking similar against ortiz until he disintegrated ortiz head). When you're actually in there fighting someone who keeps landing hard shots on you it does something that saps your energy. I dunno what it is, nervous energy I suppose, but just the process of you not being able to land and them cracking you changes the way you use your energy

When I'm sparring someone in a 50/50 or even a tech spar with someone better than me my stamina is great because I'm calm and I can easily stay in the ring all day. As soon as that person on a level above me starts turning on the power and I start missing, getting countered, eating hard shots then it's fukking draining

The truth is that wilder has 42 fights and has only ever fought 3 top 10 ranked opponents so he might just not have the experience of keeping calm and preserving energy when someone puts him under pressure

This always brings zab judah to mind. I'm so sure that if he hadn't tried to get up so quickly against tszyu he would have recovered better

Fam, I seen people talking about 12 rounds is too long as if guys didn't use to fight for 15 rounds. shyt, back in the jack johnson days they'd go 20-30 rounds

Outside with the sun beating down you on!

You are right about the nerves. I had a pretty good tank but a couple of times I had my nerves get the better of me before the round starts and be winded as hell.

look at Fury's eyes and look at his movements. The second knock down wasn't as bad as it initially looked if you really pay attention.

Wilder shoulda kept that body. His punches look way quicker.

Ppl are hard on Wilder but I thought this man KOd Fury in 2 fights and Fury got up. They both got heart.

I see why Deonte fired his other trainer, no quitting. Respect
