Say what you want about both guys, but they left it all in the ring last night. Hell of a fight. 1 of my favorite HW fights in a long time.
Which is ironic because you had so many people that didn't want this fight, many people angry we didn't Fury/Joshua for all the belts. Yet I have a feeling that fight wouldn't have been as good or as entertaining as this fight
More irony: The reason that Fury and Wilder even agreed to fight in the 1st place was because they were using each other to gain leverage and get a better offer for a fight with Joshua. 3 years and 3 fights later, both these guys raised their profile to a level that I don't think either would have gotten off just fighting AJ.
Funny how boxing works sometimes
I think people forget Fury was thought to be damaged goods before the first Wilder fight. He beat Wlad and faded into Bolivian for nearly 3 full years. Fought a couple tune ups where he didn't look all that great and then came the first Wilder fight where he was kind of an unknown quanitiy
