To execute his game plan he needed to trim and condition. His reach and extension practically allowed him to extend halfway across the ring to keep Fury at distance. He needed to outbox Fury. The shots landed, they would’ve put others down and kept them there. Fury went down but he got up. Fury got back up with a long count, barely made it. Really got the benefit of a long count. Timed it perfectly with the bell. Got up like a champ. Recovered strong.Seems like Wilder had a game plan of keeping fury from pressing forward with stiff jabs to the body but his movements with it were so exaggerated it tired him early. He was running on fumes for about 3 rounds before the finish. Fury has like 40lbs on him though, keeping someone that heavier off you is tiring af in there
What yall gotta say now about Malik Scott as a trainer?
wilder needed a vet trainer who could really shake up his camp and give him tough love not somebody who he sees as his brother
malik scott should have never been put on this stage. malik scott was doing personal training to washed up IG chicks who blew up in weight prior to this
nothing i saw in those videos they put out showed me anything significant thing he was working on
He's too small for his player type for Basketball. Guys like McGee and Tyson Chandler are 7ft. His coordination is more than fine.Nahh probably too uncoordinated to play basketball. Success is due to him being closest thing anatomically to a catapult
This funny to read in succession, wilder resume fukking sucks in comparison to the bolded . But hes 36 so he should retire i agree
Why does that surprise you? When has he ever been that? There has been plenty of top rated KO artist throughout the history of boxing that knew how to win if the KO didn't come. Wilder literally only looked for that one punch. He doesn't try to set it up or break his opponent down to get a KO.
But a check is a check. The Paul brothers are only interested in building their brand. It's business 101.Fighting an active heavyweight champion with over 40 professional knockouts is not the same as fighting a retired MMA fighter
Or a welterweight 40+ year old Floyd Mayweather
You would expect Fury to move and have stamina like a taller Butterbean but his stamina and movement is off the charts for his size. Why does that surprise you? When has he ever been that?
He’s not Anthony Joshua. Didn’t come into boxing young. Exactly the opposite, he came into boxing late - and succeeded due natural gifts and abilities. Respect his path and what he made of it
He is America’s #1 heavyweight and remains so
if he avoids Usyk and Jared Anderson and he’ll never risk losing another fight. Doesn't necessarily have to quit now but not much left to prove based on what he’s done against Fury, how hard can you fight for the #2 spot. The case could be made that Fury should be in another division entirely though
He nearly put Tyson Fury down for the count more than once. Longest counts I’ve seen anyone get or get up from …
It would’ve worked if it wasn’t Tyson Fury
Tyson Fury doesn’t make sense. That’s just the way it is. Mike Tyson studies various forms of fighting and has said the same Tyson Fury doesn’t make sense, but somehow he’s able to move like that
Should really be in a different division though
kind of a weight bully
wheres @Master Teacher aka master dikk eater at???
