Racism in Boxing is deeply engrained … I get what dude is saying. When it comes to Loma it’s “aw man, the fans need to know how GREAT HE IS. Look at the footwork! Did you see that?! How he controls Toyota Corolla’s lead hand?! Watch that again fans you’re watching a boxing savant who may be greater than that nig… guy Floyd Mayweather who’s probably watching this fight scared to come out of retirement to fight him”

They do the shyt all the time. Young black fighter with skills and boxes smart. “I mean he has the speed advantage, and he’s clearly physically stronger he needs to knock this guy out. Stop all that boxing shyt ! Why is he waiting for this guy?”

They are inconsistent in how the talk about Black fighters. Even when Loma was fighting Teo … “aw man he’s downloading and processing. Loma is sending that information from those punches to the bank. He’s faxing that right hand info to his trainer and he’s going to make the adjustment! We’re 6 rounds in and he’s thrown 10 punches and only gotten hit by 60, but he’s winning this fight with his composure and downloading and processing.”

thats just too general a statement for something like that and for particularly people aren't or weren't sold on shakur before this fight...we all watched shakur's last fight...yes it was a very dominating performance defensively but for the type of opponent it was AND for the skill level perceived that wasn't it..clearly obviously you know that..we had the same criticism...it was good shakur was able to turn it around quickly and learned from his mistakes

but inconsistency works both ways...with the mention of "anti intellectualism" in that case there should have been more fans giving wilder the business for fighting the way he does and eventually getting knocked around by fury rather than ppl going :wow: wilder has a one hitter quitter

Everytime they see a non black show boxing ability, the pundits get happy. Fury, Canelo, Josh Taylor, Teo, Valdez, Uysk...and somehow they all are topping p4p lists by not being black and being decent. Lol.

uh no...you need to calm down with this bullshyt :heh:
It’s a long history of calling the smartest black fighters boring, while it doesn’t work the other way around. I’m talking about how the media and people who don’t like these fighters think. You don’t understand this, then cool for you. Loma is a perfect example of a smart fighter that would get torn apart if he was black.

Shakur did what he was supposed to do and fought a great fight. He's got unmatched speed in the ring and his power is underrated and will get better as he gets in his late 20's to early 30's. He will be a problem for anyone. I don't know if he beats Haney or Tank right now but this could be a different story in a year or so.

i think the bigger thing is how long will he stay at 130...unfortunately 130 is like a resting stop division....no one stays that long to unify a belt minimum before moving on...shakur did mention at the post fight presser that he wanted to work towards a superfight with gervonta davis which pretty much means he isnt long for 130...i do believe shakur will at least try to unify with valdez next year before making any moves to 135

They do shyt on Wilder, all the time and have been for years. The same fans that hated Floyd, hate Wilder. "Oh Wilder sucks he just has a right hand. He cant box. He's trash! He needs to fire Mark Breland and learn how to box. Nobody wants to see someone just throw wild punches. He's a dumb bama. All he has is POWER"

Then when you mention Floyd "oh he's boring. So what he beat Canelo and walked him down?! Floyd was punching and running ... Canelo was 15 yrs old! Nobody wants to see a snooze fest. He has NO POWER."

Floyd and Wilder are polar opposites, and they hate both. Racist fans moving the goal posts is a constant theme in boxing discussions online.

I know who he is, i said putting that aside, hes not skilled.

I'm disputing you calling him a cac and a white boy son, not not knowing who he is.

But we all in agreement he's very green behind the ears.
