Turn off the volume and watch round 7. Who won that round? I think watching it live I gave it to Bivol and he was winning big, but then he got caught with just 1 shot after giving a flurry, and the round seemed to go in Arturs favor imo

This is such a dope fight to rewatch, so many rounds I can't tell, who won. One thing for sure though, I don't think Beterbiev was getting hurt, whereas bivol was getting battered. I'll pick Beterbiev to win, in the rematch

I'm glad they didn't give Bivol too much credit for basically backing up most of the fight. It's never a good look to be backing up the whole fight. This isn't the amatuers.

Exactly.
Its one thing to get rocked or hurt and you take a few secs before you get back into it, but Bivol would literally run, circle, and not punch for 30 sec intervals at a time whenever he got hurt. You can't win fights if you're moving backwards for 40% of the rd.

Bivol made it obvious he got hit with something he didn't like at times because he did exactly what you said; would circle for 30 seconds or more to regroup

Same shyt Lara started doing once them Ginger body shots started coming after the 4th rd.

I think some people get so impressed by backfoot boxing that they don't notice when it starts to become ineffective.
