I'm resistant to the fact that it will be a successful one. Six months ago I had a very similar convo with brehs that were telling me The Elite being a heel authority was worth giving it a shot as well.

I’m confused. You don’t like it because it’s gonna put Darby over? This angle isn’t like anything with the Elite. This is focused on 2 wrestlers instead of an entire stable who was going around acting a fool with no real opposition; just a group of random wrestlers joining together to take them on. And once that ended it was downhill for the Elite.

I wonder what's the end game of a Darby championship. Sure it'll be a feel good story but how much would they put into him. Would it be a long reign or transitional? I don't see him having as long a reign as some may expect. Let's say he would've won at GS against BD. Would he even have a reign past FG or even WD? I think what fukked up Darby was losing to Perry at All In. That would've been the smart play and forget all that #1 contenders match and foolishness.
Tell me why i had to go back and try to look what the match in All Out was cuz i completely forgot about Perry. Anyways the attack happens and that should've setup for tonight. Nigel could've said, before you face Mox, why don't you have another go at me. Or something like that.
Darby could've been cooking as tnt champ. If they wanted to give Darby the title from All In until tonight, even giving it back to Perry or Brody better. Then having Darby being involved in final segment to then go after Mox and BCC to defend BD honor as a fellow Seattle guy, then that would've been better. He really didn't advance much since All In anyways to be a guy that'll improve the company greatly as a champion. Maybe things will change for him.
Don't know what Mox and BCC have planned but hopefully they got an interesting storyline setup.
This upcoming Dynamite gotta be like a reset period for a few stars and setup some feuds for FG. BCC, Swerve and HS, Stat and Mercedes, TNT title pic with the guys they had return, and whatever else. They gotta start getting things going early to build long term stories for the ppv. They gotta deliver a highly rated show to keep the interest of fans that liked the ppv and help persuade some that didn't.
