To me, you don't need Darby chasing like that. You have him win the belt in a legit memorable match and then you use him as the stepping stone for next big heel (and that's the chase worth building towards to).
Using Danielson as the stepping stone for another Moxley run as the big heel ain't it
I feel pretty similar as to when the Bucks did their authority heel turn early in the year and I was arguing with people how no matter how "let's wait and see" the angle could seem, it was not worth the effort they were giving it to.
I know what the point of the angle is breh, and I'm telling you I don't believe is gonna hit like that and I'm not gonna be watching it
There's tons of angles and stories that seem worth a shot on paper and some of them you just have the feeling they aren't gonna work. Adam Cole and MJF were a formulaic angle as well and we all saw the failure it was going to be after what happened post All In 2023.
