He isnt the greatest deep passer but when he steps back in the pocket and lets it rip he can throw with the best of them. He proved that with Moss. Since Moss left the Patriots are back to the early 00' days with crappy wide receivers so he doesnt throw deep
most games Brady doesnt need to throw deep since they are usually up in games thats why he is always throwing mid to short passes to keep the offense flowing.
I'm perfectly calm, I just wanted to give you guys the truth that I gave you about us in 08 when I said we didn't want to see the Giants and the truth I gave about this team every year.
Reb, Walt and them were right about the Pats. Only Patriots homers deny it.
Go ahead, tell me one thing I just said that was inaccurate. I'm talking to my boys here right now and they're giving me these shytty defenses.
But-but-but-but it was raining
I don't get the Brandon Lloyd signing and didn't from jump.Well for one I had this chalked up as a L at the start of the season. So much so I put 400 on the Hawks(moneyline ). So I am not to upset.
Second this is a pretty good D the Hawks have. It is not always bad to tip your cap to the other team.
Third. The Bomb that won this game was on Ebner and Wilson. So I am not surprised those two rookies blew it.
4th, The pats can work the ball all over the field this year. They came up againts a good D who played great.
Are the Pats great no, but sorry just don't see the problems you see. The young D is the main problem.
Idk, the Pats are where I expected them to be, with the exception of the Zona loss..

Who do you guys have that can stretch the field?

You have no idea the frustrations I have with talking to Patriots fans. It's like Bellicheck can do no wrong. The same guys that were willing to throw Francona under the bus are giving Bellicheck immunity. A guy who can only draft obvious offensive studs. OBVIOUS ones, but sucks at drafting WRs. He hasn't hit on one since Deion Branch. Let me break down to you what I'm dealing with with these people here in New England. It has been 5 years and Bellicheck hasn't been able to reconstruct this defense. He has not been able to effectively get guys who can run quick and deep routes. But back to the point.
Wade Phillips turned around the 31st ranked Houston defense in one offseason.
Ravens did not miss a beat and rebuilt.
Steelers never fell off like we have.
Pete Carrol constructed a better defense than Bellicheck in half the time.
Yet, we're defending a guy who has done this in the secondary over the past 5 years:
2 Tavon Wilson 2012 Too soon.
2 Ras-I Dowling 2011
1 Devin McCourty 2010
2 Patrick Chung 2009
2 Darius Butler 2009
2 Terrence Wheatley 2008
1 Brandon Meriweather 2007
I'll wait on the rookie Wilson and McCourty has talent and Chung is being used wrong, but there's no excuse. He has been trying to rebuild this group for 5 years. FIVE.
It took him 4 to finally fix the front 7.
I don't get how they don't see it.
He's not a good GM, and his on the field coaching is compensating for it by putting players in positions where he thinks they can be successful instead of what we need them to do because he drafted their limited talent asses in the first place. Pioli was the GM.
How long did it take the chiefs to put together a defense?

Probably cuz of all the winning
Pat's fans are too panicky. There's a lot more football left to play. All of our losses have been close.

Winning what exactly? Pointless regular season games against the wack AFC East? Baltimore win is our only big win in the past 4 years.
You're looking at it from a competitive standpoint, I'm looking at it from the standpoint of whether a team is championship caliber. We're benefitting from a down AFC right now. We would lose in the SB to whoever comes out of the NFC.
