Buy some ethereum with cc/debit

Set up gdax account

Register for binance, kucoin, ect

Transfer ethereum over to gdax, the trading platform linked to coinbase, this is to avoid coinbase's higher transfer fee

Transfer ethereum over to binanace or kucoin or yobit or hitbtc, do a test transfer 1st

Trade ethereum for altcoin of your choice, do a test trade 1st

Secure altcoins in web/hard wallet of your choice unless you want to do some day/ swing trading
