so are stable coins a way to hold “money” in your wallet without transferring? Serious question. If you’re going to sell everything what’s the benefit of the stable coin v holding the usd in your crypto market?

getting passive income. put USD in your bank and you're getting barely any interest. gemini dollar give you 8.05% APY and dai 7.55%.

Yes.

Depending on the exchange, you can earn yield on your stablecoins so for example, if someone isn't looking to buy into anything due to the market being too volatile for them, they can sell into a stablecoin, stake or lend their stablecoins and get in some cases double digit APY for just holding.

The one thing I haven’t figured out is how do you buy during a bull run?

ideally you want to sell during a bull market…now when there’s uncertainty and folks are talking about ditching bags/being hesitant to buy is when YOU should be buying…that being said you can still make money buying in the midst of a bull run but it becomes a game of hot potato and the chances of ending up holding the bag increases…all of this is easier said than done…can’t say it enough but euphoria is a REAL emotion and I have been susceptible to it at times despite knowing better…but on paper the best plan is building up your bags when there’s no media fanfare surrounding crypto and to dump it on others when the media signals/hypes folks up to buy the shyt again…I’ll always joke and say when the folks who seem to come in here talking shyt only when BTC drops then that’s when you should be looking to buy…when they stop coming in here, it means the market is doing well and that’s when you should be angling to sell

Looks like false prophets

Feedback to the materials “Fantom Foundation will work with OJSC “Orienbank” on CBDC” (https://www.block-chain24.com, 28.09.2021); The National Bank of Tajikistan attracts Fantom and Orienbank to assist in the development of CBDC (www.coindesk.com, https:

The National Bank of Tajikistan informs that it has not signed any cooperation agreement with Fantom Foundation on Digital Currency Platform (CBDC) and has no intentions to do so. The information on introduction of Digital Currency Platform (CBDC) through the National Bank of Tajikistan in the Republic of Tajikistan is incorrect and untrue, therefore the National Bank of Tajikistan has already sent a letter to the Fantom Foundation concerning the disclosure of false information.

The Fantom Foundation has signed an MoU with OJSC Orienbank to demonstrate its CBDC solution for use in the Republic of Tajikistan.

NEW YORK, September 27, 2021--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Fantom Foundation announcedthat it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the OJSC Orienbank, one of the largest banks in Tajikistan, to trial a hybrid CBDC platform for deployment across the country. This monumental agreement establishes Fantom as one of the first blockchain projects globally to begin development of a CBDC solution for a national government.

Fantom and Orienbank will work with the National Bank of Tajikistan to build commercial and retail payment networks for the E-SOM, the digitized version of the Tajikistani Somoni. By integrating developer Andre Cronje’s Iron Bank protocol, the Fantom-based product will also include a low-fee foreign exchange with simple fiat on- and off-ramp. Fantom, Orienbank, and the National Bank will aim for a nationwide rollout upon completion of a successful demonstration.
