In the case of Ripple it was a top 10 coin that had been level for months, then they did a demo on South Korean TV show and it took off, there's reports that TRON will be used by Alibaba, Iota had news of partnerships which were bogus, and in the case of XVG it got the co-sign from John McAfee.

It's all about the news and what developments come out about a particular coin, I think something like WaBI will fly up the chart next too.

If theres true substance behind the brand than a dip I can handle. I assume it will return to form with time.
