A lot of them are not based on anything tangible but hype. They'll put clickbait titles like "SECRET ALT TO GO 1000X IN 2 WEEKS! DONT MISS" to draw you in. Meanwhile they've bought that coin days ago and dump on you and all their followers after they upload the video and the pump starts.

You will have to start researching and learning this shyt if you want to develop an eye to identify good projects early that have a lot of potential.

I tend to focus on the smaller channels with good information rather than the large click bait channels.

You made a good point but the average investor isn't doing a ton of actual research, hence why xrp and dogecoin are pumping like they are now.
