I wanted Omega to win but i can't even complain that match was every thing. I liked the story it told that if Omega hit Okada with the 1 winged angel even once he was done for.

Has anyone ever kicked out of it?

awesome tokyo dome show as usual. man the story telling in the last few matches were top notch. Naito and Omega are truly made men now, if they werent already. I thought the undercard was better than it has been in the last few years, the young bucks-roppongi match was dope as was the triple threat match for the tag titles.

Thought kushida and takahashi had a chance to steal the show, and while there were some slip ups, it was still a great match 4 stars at least. Shibata and Goto was great as well, Goto had to win that match. I think Shibata is ready for bigger and better things, and is my early pick to win the G1 if he is healthy enough to compete by the time August rolls around.

Tanahashi is a beast as always, dude is so money in big matches. Him and naito was a classic in my book. Naito had to get the W and did, good for him.

the omega-okada match couldve had some stuff trimmed off of it in the beginning, but was one of my favorite matches ive ever seen. gonna be one of those that you remember where you were the first time you saw it type stuff. thank god for new japan world, such a smart move to start a streaming service.

Dave is the GOAT stan :pachaha:

If this was the 90's this period would be treated with the same respect as 90's All Japan. It's crazy how times have changed.

I wasn't sucking their dikk your post said to go where he just reupped with mj smiley . didn't say he sucked or wouldn't be a good fit for wwe or they wouldn't want him . I agree I'm suprised wwe even wants him , he's a good wrestler but they have a shytload of good wrestlers
:laff::laff::laff::laff::laff::laff::laff:Meltzer really gave that match 6 stars
wow meltzer is really biased . I've seen matches in LU and ROH I've thought were better (matches fought in thr style of each show) I liked the naito and time bomb matches better .

Im sorry, I love LU but Omega and Okada have both put on at minimum 4 matches in the last 12 months better than the best LU match ever

LU matches are almost entirely spotfests with no psychology and no logic and poor selling.

I think I liked Tanahashi/Naito more than Omega/Okada. Main event felt like a PWG match in the dome. That kind of match has its place, but I don't feel like the dome on 1/4 is that place. Kenny being in those kind of matches is still fairly unique for the NJ heavyweight scene, but I don't really want to see it continue down the path of increasingly crazy spot fests and huge bumps for multiple reasons.

1. That can only last so long before dudes break down
2. That's going to limit who can make it to the main events and who can't way too much
3. NJ is a reprieve from that type of stuff that is prevalent damn near every where else in the world

All this 6 stars, literally greatest match EVER type of talk will die down in the next few weeks and people will realize it was an amazing spectacle and spot fest, but not some transcendent match like Okada/Tanahashi last year, or Nakamura/Ibushi the year before that. Kenny showed some flashes of brilliance with his selling and movements, and Okada is Okada. But let the dust settle before it gets a literal greatest match in the history of the profession type of tags. The prematch promo with English subtitles and talking about expanding, then the match itself felt like it was vying for the American audience as NJ continues to make in roads here, but I don't watch NJ to get something made for Americans, ya know?
