dudes keep bringing up rust like he fought an active contender, Lopez been washed since tall tees were still popular and he's been a 1 fight a year fighter for like the past 4 years. Boxing fans really wired different when it comes to copping pleas
doubt most of these dudes even saw that fightthis was supposed to be a damn tune up

exactly...and i had no problem with the fight either..josesito had good performances in his most recent bouts and he was ranked....keith was doing his thing in the early rounds but he faded and was being walked down by josesito lopez..keith is a big welter getting walked down by this dude...and getting hurt...that was troubling to me...josesito has been through the ringer with vargas, ortiz, maidana, canelo, berto.....he did beat josesito though clear and the draw was bullshyt...i just expected more of what keith was doing in the first 4-5 rounds to have been extended for the rest of the fight and put him away before 10..i like thurman as a fighter even though his inactivity is bothersome to me..but a fight with manny pacquiao after this is pretty much 50-50 or pac a slight favorite if that is his next fight

Berto is better at 147 than Broner , so what is your point?nikka got stopped by a WASHED Berto fam are we really in here doing this.this was supposed to be a tune up after 2 years of inactivity hence why many didn't complain about this fight but he damn near stopped him
had Thurman's eyes more crossed than the refs after the left hook that started it all
He wasn't almost stopped, hell he didn't even touch the canvas.

It was a 2 year off from injury tune up where he couldn't throw punches because of his shouler and hand problems. Stop hating.
Lopez won 2 - 3 rounds at most and was dominated the majority of the fight.

I think it would be more fair to judge him after another tune up fight against another live body, give him Jesse Vargas, a guy who is going to bring it and can bang and see how he does, if he shows improvement in conditioning and timing or doesn't then we can talk about how he might do against higher level comp in a more realistic manner imho.

I’m excited to watch Spence and he’s an exciting prospect for the future of boxing, maybe he will catapult to be the next big thing for the casual fan - I hope he has a great career, I would tune in for it all, there’s something special about the way he throws punches but he’s not proven and vetted like Thurman is against elites of the division. Show respect, anything else is unbecoming
