Why they doing a double broadcast of the Manhattan Center and Barclays?

Goldust was there, but we get no package for him? Shame.
I heard his music in the background during pre-show. I think they relegated him to Superstars taping smh
its 11:07 how much of a fukking run over did they pay for?

This show was doomed from the start, the opening segment was 20 mins long......its been 20 mins long since 97-98...that shyt has to stop
What could they do though? It was such a tight, packed show and they definitely needed the time for 10 APA poker skits, 30 commercial breaks and 7 minutes for the worst promo of Shawn Michaels' career, breh :skip:

Wrestling is dying brehs

Will it even survive the next 20 years? I'm being serious here
Professional wrestling has been around for like 100 years. It's not going anywhere but definitely will not reach the popularity of the 80s and late 90s. I could see the WWE running Raw and Smackdown in small arenas like they used to in 1995-early 1997.

If I was Austin I would have declined to appear on the show. Didn't do any of his catchphrases and did a couple of struggle stunners. Not surprised that Bret, Batista, The Rock, and Foley declined to make an appearance or record a video message.
Austin probably only showed up to get some guests on the podcast :pachaha:

So did WrestleMania 2 utilize the whole "event in multiple arenas" thing better, or was it just as bad?
They tried that shyt in three arenas across the country, so they all pretty much got the Manhattan Center treatment tonight of a few matches and watching the rest on a big tv lol. Horrible

They weren't even that hyped, most of them sounded defeated until HHH started to pander :pachaha:

The bolded is very true though, we wrestling fans are easy as fukk to shock and "go back" as soon as we see something interesting. What truly surprises me is that WWE hasn't had that in a LONG time. It used to be like once a year or 18 months something "special" would happen that would make the mediocre - or awful - product worth it and make you watch it (or go back to watching it) for a couple of weeks or months before booking ruined that special angle/wrestler/feud. I guess we got Braun being incredibly fun to watch for a while last year but it was far from the Jericho/Michaels-Taker/Edge, Nexus, Summer of Punk, Yes Movement type of stuff that used to at least give a spark to fandom.

What was the last time people went "holy shyt can't believe that happened, gotta watch next week and see where this goes" that DIDN'T involve a part timer or legend :patrice: :patrice:

It's stockholm syndrome

It's hard to believe the rise of Daniel Bryan was 4 years ago, and back then I thought RAW wasn't very good. I don't think it'll be even be that at that level again. They'll need someone who can separate themselves from their on screen persona and actually write something that makes sense, HHH's NXT doesn't exactly inspire confidence, it's not as good as people think it is.
