:yeshrug:
Yeah they more than likely don't know shyt about fighting if they say that bout izzy. I bet they said the same about Anderson silva because he didn't throw wrestler overhands and shyt:mjlol:

I actually think Ryan has a cool personality. He has a very different personality than most boxers that give you some PC/non-committal shyt.
this ill give you...with him its not a gimmick...its who he really is..his personality isnt for everyone :heh:

combine that with his fan friendly way of fighting and you got boxing crossover gold

I said he throws flurries that hit gloves...

“He’s very heavy handed. Even when I was blocking the shots, I could feel them,” Campbell said. “That was the hardest shot I was ever hit with. I tried and tried to get up, but I couldn’t. I felt him coming on, and I was moving back, and when you move back my body relaxed a little bit and that’s the exact time he hit me.

you really married to this dumb ass point :mjtf: . the nikka who was in the ring said that wasn't the case.
you calling the shyt flurries trying minimize what he did in the ring. me and luke campbell calling it for what it was. you so contrarian for the sake of it, i'm trying save you from starting a losing agenda breh
don't try to recalibrate what you talking about now nikka :mjlol:, you replied to me talking about campbell spinning garcia head around and garcia was throwing nothing but flurries while coming forward those your words. stick to the footwork and other valid shyt or risk being wrong as fukk :what:

That dudes head was getting whipped around left and right by Campbell...idgaf what it looked like with his flurries and walking forward

imo the Haney fight is easier to make and makes the most sense .. whoever wins gets the WBC belt and the cross-promotional fight

this...DAZN needs to step in and apply pressure to GB/Matchroom...this could be a fire fight for the spring time

If Garcia was an actual champion though, I would be like time to sit on the title for a little and level up the boxing skill lol

I dont hold that same mentality for fighters with interim titles

matter of fact this whole WBC 135 nonsense with Haney - Lopez - Garcia needs to be corrected/deaded in 2021

Well, Garcia did pass the test :ehh:

His hand speed is legit and he does carry power so he's defo a threat but as plenty here said head movement and footwork are close to non existent. Dude is all in on offense and that makes him an exciting fighter but he's too flawed yet to be the top dog. Tank and Teo sleep him and Haney and Loma outbox him at this moment.

Plus, though he reacted calmly and well after the KD, when he came back at Campbell in the 6 wild as hell, it was obvious he didnt listen to Reynoso. He also seems like he's the type that need to pay the opponent back immediately when he's hit. Dunno if he's a hothead but dude has an excellent coach which he doesnt seem to listen to so I hope it's just him being young.

Am I the only one hoping Ryan Vs Haney doesn’t happen yet?? These kids are what 21-22?? They haven’t even fully grown into their adult fighter bodies/styles yet. Their prime is still years from now. I mean, that’s a legit PPV SUPERFIGHT at 147 in like 4 years. That’s Floyd vs Oscar. I say let these kids keep learning and getting experience. There’s plenty of decent guys they can fight climbing up the ranks to get good experience from.

I mean, did Floyd, Manny, Oscar, Cotto etc fight top level, equally matched up popular adversaries at that age? Of course not. Floyd vs Judah happened when they were like 30 years old and most importantly, in their prime. The winner in Ryan vs Haney right now is not definitive and could easily lose the rematch in a blow out fashion in a few years.

Let these fights marinate a bit longer. Let these kids get better, faster, stronger and meet up at their prime and full potential. Yeah we don’t want to drag it out to they’re 30 but sheesh, 21-22? Come on. Pushing for these fights right now is bad IMO.

i wouldnt use floyd vs judah as an example..when baldomir beat zab that fight lost a lot of its mystique

yep and i notice he pull straight back with chin in the air and tried to do some weird parry when he got knocked down. thats a recipe for ko waiting to happen. you can not pull straight back like that in boxing.

Floyd beat a #1 ring guy for a world title at 21-22, manny won a world title at 20, oscar beat JCC for a world title at 23 I think

You misunderstood. I’m saying they weren’t in big evenly matched up fights with other young top popular guys in their divisions. That’s not what matchmakers and promoters traditionally do - they build those fights up and keep fighters like that away from each other. I actually don’t expect them to make this fight just yet from a financial stand point.
