Agree with all this. Don't think it's overrated, we're just getting everybody fighting each other and nobody has shown to be elite, head and shoulders above the rest. There isn't a Ward in the super 6 tournament type of presence in the division. But it makes for interesting fights and a fun division to keep up with. Wish they would mix it up like this more at 47 tbh.
I only want Soro and Garcia now to enter the picture. They are good fighters but unfortunately mostly fight in Europe. At 154 important things mostly happen in the US, they need to fight in the US.

i'll give you 175 because thats what 154 is except they have a shytload of murderous punchers who do face each other like last nght alvarez icing seals like he did...135 isnt there yet, HW - is top heavy and not really on a high level, 147 has manny pacquiao as a legit champion because the younger prime fighters cant get rid of him, 160 is stagnant, and 168 is a joke right now..154 has actually been giving us heat between the top fighters since floyd let go of the belts

the up and down nature of 154...id rather see somebody rise above it and prove themselves...right now its a free for all...because whoever does unify 154 you know they put in that work
I'm talking more just pure talent level. Like which divisions have the best overall fighters. 154 has definitely given us some great scraps because all of the guys are so evenly matched. But as far as overall talent, I just don't see any of them ever reaching greatness like the other divisions. But I guess if they're giving us the exciting fights that's all that really matters :manny:

Will be interesting if a big name from welterweight moves up to gauge it.

In that sense I also agree. A pfp King isn't gonna emerge from there. But from a depth perspective and good, entertaining fights to be made and have happened already, it's definitely one of the more exciting divisions.

I think 154 is properly rated. Doesn’t have a single guy on any top 10 pound for pound list. No one talks about any of them as elite, not even Charlo :yeshrug:

Canelo hasn’t fought there in a couple of years. Wish it was a way for him to go back down get all the belts with the prospect of either Spence or Bud moving up for a super fight but that’s a pipe dream

Life comes at you fast :sas2:

I’ll never not get satisfaction of being right about JRock... all that humble shyt is an act

nikka stays poppin shyt ... how’s that saying go??... “nikkas with glass chins shouldn’t throw stones” or Something like that :youngsabo:

Facts, them nikkas stay talking shyt and humble bragging, but they never get shyt for it...In Bread mailbag yesterday, someone asked him who had the best shot at beating Canelo from 160 down and this nikka said

Jrock :mjlol::deadrose:

Jrock chin is just too unreliable for me to ever pick him to beat the elites. :hhh:

154 nikkas is passing them belts around like they Costco samples.

:comeon: C’mon with this, Spence is ain’t no superman, he had his hands full with Porter who’s a good fighter but would be a small ass 154er.

He is not going to fight Charlo (Who he spars with regularly). J Rock chin is shaky, Hurd and Lara are rumored to be moving up soon. Lubin has been stopped before. There really isn't much left after that. Spence spars counterweights. By the time he gets there who will be a threat to him (3-4 fights away maybe)?
