Didn't even bother to watch cause I was on my way to a party. Got a text from the homie that j rock got knocked out :picard:......I really like dude as a person but he just not built for the elite level. 154 is overrated as fukk

If Spence ever gets right and handles his business at 147, he could move up and unify easy.

I thought Lubin would be the guy before he got stopped by Charlo. Jermall moved up to soon. He was the best 154 had.

I’m hearing a rematch clause? I thought this was a mandatory for some reason and those usually don’t have rematch clauses. I like J Rock but fukking hell... we never gonna get that 3 belt unification won’t we? Some favorite will always fukk up and there’s always gonna be a rematch clause that throws wrench into a unification.

Nah 154 isnt overrated...they have A LOT of prime fighters with different skillsets and pronounced strengths/weaknesses...and they are facing each other. This division used to be stagnant as fukk. I'd rather see this so the cream does the rise to the top. See who wants it more.

:comeon: C’mon with this, Spence is ain’t no superman, he had his hands full with Porter who’s a good fighter but would be a small ass 154er.

Charlo is solid. Hurd is one dimensional. Tony harrison is just a bigger Devon Alexander to me. Good technical ability but he fights too hesitant and he can't seem to stay sharp for a full 12. J rock has great athleticism but a suspect chin and he's still never put together a good stretch of performances. He's always been up and down. I don't know. Maybe I'm missing some other guys but I'm just not seeing it right now. I feel like 147, 160, 168, 175, and heavyweight are all better. 135 too.

154 just hasn't panned out like we all thought it would.

i'll give you 175 because thats what 154 is except they have a shytload of murderous punchers who do face each other like last nght alvarez icing seals like he did...135 isnt there yet, HW - is top heavy and not really on a high level, 147 has manny pacquiao as a legit champion because the younger prime fighters cant get rid of him, 160 is stagnant, and 168 is a joke right now..154 has actually been giving us heat between the top fighters since floyd let go of the belts

the up and down nature of 154...id rather see somebody rise above it and prove themselves...right now its a free for all...because whoever does unify 154 you know they put in that work

Imagine how nightmarish this could be.
You are at the top of the world, unified titlist, number 1 of the division, coming off beating an established, undefeated fighter and then when it seems it's all good you get battered and knocked out by a supposed tune-up in you homecoming fight in front of all your friends and family. shyt's gotta be soul-crushing.

Agree with all this. Don't think it's overrated, we're just getting everybody fighting each other and nobody has shown to be elite, head and shoulders above the rest. There isn't a Ward in the super 6 tournament type of presence in the division. But it makes for interesting fights and a fun division to keep up with. Wish they would mix it up like this more at 47 tbh.
