I thought this would be a decent album and all the hate was coming from hipster CACs who want to distance themselves from anything in the realm of "nerd rap".

This shyt is that bad though, the punchlines on this album rival the corniest Papoose lines and most of the hooks are garbage. It had a few good songs but this is the worst hip hop album I've heard this year.

They have more forced, shytty punchlines than most supposedly lyrical rappers, no chemistry, barely a lick of any charisma, and my top 150 rappers are all better than each one of those clowns. after FURTHER REVIEW.

this album is Trash....to me.

there are at most 4 real HIPHOP songs on the album.

the rest are songs that if you pay attention are setup to sell to a particular demographic. and that demo is not black male from the hood. or white male that loves hood black male hiphop. the demo they were shooting for likes popish/alternative rock music. white boys from the burbs that really dont know what "TRUE HIPHOP" is. they did this because they looked around these dudes concerts and checked the album sales and noticed it was a ton of white dudes buying this album. so they literally made a FAN album. or atleast so they think. and that might be where they go wrong. perhaps these white dudes only want to hear hood black male raps from SH. they might not like the fact that they have stoop to the level of their other types of music.

but we cant complain the singles showed us the blueprint. they were reaching and pandering like crazy with some of these singles.

The Slaughter House we knew pre Shady Records/Interscope is a thing of the past ladies and gentlemen. dont expect anything like that old SH again.

lastly, i got a funny feeling these dudes are not good with what direction they want to take their albums in and they must not have ears for beats. which leaves a space for an EXEC to come in and tell them What they SHOULD DO.

let this be a lesson to any youngins trying to get into the rapping or singing game. always have your own sound. always have a great ear for beats or have someone on your team that has a good ear for music. and bring your ideas to the table without trying to appease the execs with cookie cutter songs/hooks. give them a full cohesive album with singles ready to go. as well as solid album/live performance songs. you do that, you're less likely to get bombarded with label EXEC forced choices of singles to use. and songs to add or takeaway.
