I think you got it backwards. I think they listened to this album as it presently is and realized that it was utter cac garbage and knew they had to record a hard tape to let the fans know they still had something left in the tank. So when they get dropped from the label after this garbage flops, they are hoping the same fans who at least bought their 1st Koch release will buy their next Koch release when they end up back on that label.

No way these nikkas didn't realize this album was garbage, but they probably don't have any control over the music that gets released on their own album.

The tape was a consolation prize. They also have a ready made excuse once they flop and are dropped. "We never wanted to make that album, we wanted to make an album like the mixtape but with better production & a bigger budget.":shaq2:

You'd be surprised how little control they actually have of what ends up on the album and what doesn't. In fact, I believe Royce didn't even realize All On Me had been moved to the mixtape until the mixtape had already dropped.

Although you could be right. Either way, the album is trash and their first was much better.

I kinda doubt mixtape where more than half of the material was recorded in a couple of weeks is something they would've wanted to drop as an album.

Oh & the "excuse" for "flopping" is gonna be the fact that they can probably compare the sales of this album to the first album & say they sold more with this one.

I knew it would be a bad idea from the second they announced a mixtape. I thought it would be a bad idea before, but was hoping to be wrong. As soon as they announced a tape I knew that all of the harder tracks would immediately be put onto the tape in favor of a cheesy album.

I figured that also. Especially them releasin it damn near the same day the album was due. I just didnt expect it to be this terrible.

I always thought twice about his "handicap w/o the wheelchair...sacrificial lambs" comment at the end of his verse on Truth or Truth too

the album sounds like some corny Eminem shyt. Very disappointing. I hope this album sticks a nail in the coffin for Eminem being a rap legend.

When Nas was a hot act, you throw him on an album and it became a classic.
When Jay-Z was hot, Biggie, 2Pac etc.
Same with Kanye today. Everything he touches now is gold. Eminem rapped and did hooks on this, probably was involved in the horrid beat selection. Album is ass. I feel bad for SH, they probably never had much say.

I thought the album was ok :manny: I give it 3 out of five.. My thing is we got over 30 SH tracks to listen to I just put all the best ones together and make my own album, it's not like I or anybody else in here paid for it.. :manny:

:childplease:Umm...I know it's cool and all to hate on Em these days and to some extents, for good reasons. However, lets not got shyt twisted from this album in forgetting the fact that when Em was in his prime and "hot", he was damned near feared to being rapped beside due to getting murdered. Lettuce not forget Renegade and how he also was merking all guest appearances, freestyles, etc. during his period as well.

Anybody that questions the beat selection, look no further than Marshall Mathers.

Eminem has never in his life known what a good beat sounds like. The ones he's had were either dumb luck or Dre. He's got whiteboy ear. I can't imagine a black person liking a a beat on an Eminem album after the second one.

There was some heat on the Eminem Show.
