This doesn’t surprise me one bit. Shaun Ricker is being put out to pasture at 39 years old when there are plenty of wrestlers in both WWE and AEW entering their prime in their early 40s. Indeed, I remember listening to a podcast featuring him and David Marquez a little while ago where he talked about the fact that ‘40’ now is not the same as ‘40’ in previous generations. And besides all of this, did anyone seriously think he was going to be happy with getting scripted?
The Max Dupri debacle serves as confirmation to Adam Cole that leaving was the correct course of action. Of course, now that McMahon is done and Triple H is back could mean that we see the return of LA Knight.
