Today is the first day I'll try to watch every tourney match, there's a lot of piff potential with that Korakuen magic

Ishii/Naito was great, awesome atmosphere and it came across more fight like than usual. Ishii role playing as Tenryu was good stuff, may he one day be in an exploding cage match.

Ibushi/Juice was good as well, Kota just deciding to go crazy after the apron spot

Main event was ok, crowd stuff was fun. Didn't really get invested in the finishing run though.

I don't usually pay attention to the Yano G1 matches but I could check this one out.

Yano's G1 matches are often quite fun because he has more room to play off his opponent.

Ibushi vs Cocaine Octopus and Naito/Ishii got 4.75

Suzuki-Kun/bytch Ass Tanahashi and Ibushi/Juice got 4.5

Gedo annihilated Goto years ago. Even though you are right that a win here and a token title challenge wouldn't have hurt anybody, it wouldn't have meant shyt anyways either
