It is such a no-brainer to put Cage and Hobbs in a tag team. They would fill that desperately needed monster tag team that AEW really should have in their tag division.

It was working as a face though, because he did come off as a working man underdog. I had no idea who the fukk Will Hobbs was and I'm sure most didnt, he wasnt a guy who was "supposed" to make it and that's important for someone with that kind of face character.

He has the story no doubt, but his mannerisms and move set didn’t fit

Very underwhelming show, with an underwhelming main event. If I had to criticize AEW, the main event wasn’t built right, I had no idea why they were fighting and it just seemed random.

This show felt like there was too much going on and was basically a throw away show before next weeks big shows. No pun intended

EDIT: It’s also pretty funny that people have complained about AEW having too many long matches saying that not every match needs to be 15 minutes, so they lead off last night’s episode with like four squash matches

I’m not gonna tag the person.... but just last week in a thread niccas was complaining about how she really hasn’t been giving nothing to do and wondering why she in “tag” matches instead of a feud.

It may have been random, but evidently there is gonna be like a big ladder match coming up for a show so that was a “qualifier” match for a spot.
