:what:Y’all just making up shyt to prove your points. The rock don’t need

Do you really believe that? You talking about the black Adam situation? That wasn’t as big of a deal as yall make it out to be. Because he still is in the next fast movie so he ain’t hurting for work.

Look. Y’all act like Cody is going to retire soon and he is on his last run. Dude will probably be around another 5 years or so, the rock will not, this is likely his last singles match if not last match ever. Cody can fukking wait. The rock doesn’t have much time to do his last run so let him get it out the way. Hell who knows how long Roman will be around. You can’t let this moment pass

The IWC needs to understand the majority of those fans in attendance are not online reading wrestling news and trying to predict storylines. They just want a show and the rock is one of the biggest stars in the world. Cody one of the biggest stars in the wrestling community

Bro the reason he is back in Fast and Furious is the same reason he's back in WWE -- image rehab.

You said Rock brings in more media attention right? Well look what the media is literally saying about why he came back to WWE. Everyone actually inside Hollywood and in major mainstream media outlets knows his image took a hit and he's trying to turn it around.

Dwayne Johnson's superhero movie 'Black Adam' flopped. Now, he's looking for redemption in WWE.

Why would they make Seth Rollins and his title look weak yesterday if they going to pivot Cody in that direction.

Why would Cody go after a title he does not really want?

It's the dusty title, he can make it a prestigious belt or something :skip:

There is no way you are going to get me to run with that. Black Adam flopping was a small setback but to say he needed to rehab his image so he had to take the fast movie is insane, that’s literally a bigger franchise so you saying he failed up?

He failed his way into being on the board at TKO as opposed to just being talent?

You are talking like these things are downgrades.

Y’all take this shyt too serious Cody ain’t really sad it’s a show he was supposed to look like that. Don’t work yourself into a shoot brother

To be clear, I think this is the right business move due to the external circumstances. We'll see if they can make it work creatively but it didn't get off to a great start.

It's not just Black Adam flopping, he basically burned a bridge with one of the biggest studios in Warner Bros by his failed DCU takeover.

Its a reason why he peaced out on Fast and then quickly ran right back to them after the DCU shyt. He needed it.

Its a reason he's now rushing back into WWE. He needs it.

Breh it's not really arguable in my mind, you have major media outlets who cover the in's and out's of hollywood business already telling you what it is.

I put this in the wrong thread, but

I know the logic ain't really too valid and sound, but Cody does still have his title shot and we really don't know how he's gonna use it. People are acting like Cody's rumble win is null and void, no, it's just potentially shifted to Seth or delayed.

It's only been 12 hours. We don't fully know how this is gonna go.

I wish certain wrestling fans cared about washing their ass as much as they care about this.
People just jumping to conclusions. He could challenge Roman prior to WM. Roman vs Rock may not even be for the belt. Cody specifically said he was coming for Roman and his title but not at WM. That leaves a number of scenarios open.

Now if you just think Cody vs Roman should be at WM, then you won't be happy with this regardless. I personally don't care to see the same mania event two years in a row though. WWE really booked themselves in a corner with Roman's title reign which is really what's causing all of this.

"This story makes no sense"

There's a difference here. Cena didn't come out and say that WrestleMania main events are only for people who have earned their spot, and him winning at the Royal Rumble is unfair to those who worked for months to be in it, so he's giving up his title match. He made it clear he didn't want to wait until WrestleMania to face Orton and get back the title, Orton refused and chose to defend it at No Way Out, Cena gets screwed over. At the same time, since there's no challenger for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania, they have an EC match at No Way Out to determine who it is. Triple H wins, but Cena wants another crack at Orton so he faces him again to be inserted into the title match at Mania. And throughout all that, Triple H was annoyed that his one-on-one match was taken away from him.

I don't know what WWE's plans were for WrestleMania before Cena got hurt, but after he got hurt, I'm assuming Triple H was going to face Orton. Then Cena came back, and there was no chance in hell he wasn't going to be in the title match. At the same time, Triple H was supposed to be in the title match a year before, and it's obvious he was going to face Orton, so a triple threat match was the best compromise. It gave us a match we hadn't seen before and everything lined up story-wise.

I don't know where they're going with this current situation, but unlike Cena, Cody's spot in the title match isn't guaranteed. There's a very good chance they'll do Rock/Roman and nothing else to it. A triple threat is their best option right now and it would make up for what they didn't do in 2013, but I don't see them doing that.
