Clearly the company trust, and appreciates Cody enough to be in the rare category of back to back Royal Rumble wins. All these jokes about him is funny but It is what it is. Sure, maybe Cody deserves better. And some of us may not like this route they’re going. But I think most at least understand it from a business perspective. Plus It’s probably extremely hard to get The Rock. Time is running out. He’s getting older and less and less ready to go a full 20/30 minutes in a main event match. Timing is everything. This isn’t the perfect or ideal time, but it’s like the only time they have left. It’s now or never for the match. Literally Rock’s wrestling biological clock is ticking brehs, pause.

Cody vs Reigns can happen for the next two Wrestlemania’s, and someway somehow the stakes could be even higher. Their rivalry will not be a one off.
