there was countless articles and discussion about it, it’s one of main drivers for talking about Hispanics and they wish washy ways :francis:

She played her part in the marvel movies so fukk her now :yeshrug:
I mean she don’t deal with BM‘s anyway:yeshrug:

That didn't take away from how much of a Beautiful black woman she was.

It’s kind a like chancellor Williams said Most of the people who we swear up and down or black around the world are actually mulatto. And here lies the problem. That woman in question, Zoe Saldana has a non-black mother. Most of these dark complected Latino Did not grow up in a place that has a Environment fertile enough of them to fight racism the way the Environment has fertile enough been for us in America. They are a lost cause. Not on only that but we’ve been to kind to too many people for too long. Don’t you think it’s time for us to get back the same energy we’ve been getting from them?

:snoop::snoop::snoop:

She was born and raised in New Jersey and you’re claiming her mother isn’t black

:what::what::what:

this picture of her & her mother and her grandmother .... so tell me, what the hell are they ??????

any man arguing whether Zoe should have played Nina must be on some feminine shyt

because colorism really only affects women

I don’t remember anybody complaining about Chadwick playing Thurgood or Denzel playing Malcolm

I posted about the thurgood marshall one, because he specifically said once, that colorism from whites greatly affected his ability to suceed over other equally knowlegable black men during the 50s and 60s.If he looked like chadwick he might not have been elected to the supreme court.

Denzal i didn't have issue with because Malcolms legacy seems like it could be same regardless of his complexion.
but neither actor wore skin darkening makeup. Last King of Scotland would've been a better comparision.

My point was the reverse complain about Zoe

Chadwick & Denzel obviously was given a shade lighter make-up to fit their characters features

I mentioned the last King of Scotland about Forrest Whitaker. But they Ignored that question
I think he got a pass in general because he wasn't super light skinned by comparison. People didn't feel like a role that should go to a dark skinned black actor was lost to a light skinned person. if they had done the last king of scotland with will smith it probably would've result in similar outrage as zoe zaldana got.

no it would not people act like light skin women are less black that is the only reason it was an issue.
