How about the fact that Nina's dark skin, broad nose and nappy hair played a significant role in her life and music. This is not like J-Lo and Selena, Denzel and Malcolm X, Laurence Fishbourne and Ike Turner, Angela Bassett and Tina Turner. Nina's nose, skin and hair were things she fought to display as beautiful and to use prostetics is an insult, making Zoe into a minstrel clown is disgusting. I get that she probably thought it was a good movie, script, etc and that Nina would be a good person to portray but if you gotta cake up with makeup to play her, maybe you should have let someone else do it.
