:mjlol:HOW ARE THESE REMOTELY SIMILAR?

LONZO BALL AND MARBURY HAD A SHOE BRAND.

I think he's saying that since MJ is an owner, he can circumvent the salary cap rules and pay guys via the shoe deal. It would be really easy to cheat a lot that way. I don't know if the NBA has any rules regarding that or not.

On the topic of the thread, this was a bad decision. I've never really seen a jordan brand sneaker that is attractive especially when compared to the classic Jordan sneakers/

Spin off, though...

What direction would y'all want to see the Zion 1s take? Or should they be the Z. Will 1s or ZW 1s

Zion 1s should be the name route.

And regarding the style foundation - Maybe take from the classic bigger shoes that were popular during the late 80s and 90s. His personality and his style of play would scream a shoe that looks like it has weight on it. Not too bulky but no where near dainty.

Probably like in the grandmama LJ family...

Again, definitely with an updated feel but I'm interested in what y'all would do if you were on that design team.

So if all goes well he will be able to sign a supermax and be up for a new shoe deal the same summer or year prior.
