Neither RJ or Cam are nearly Kobe/TMac type athletes and yeah they don't have the handle or vision

Duke is going to see a lot of zone with Tre, RJ, Cam and Zion all being mediocore shooters

The problem is Duke landed the only other players who you could argue is on his level.

It's crazy Duke went from being known as the lame dorky white boy & Uncle Tom school to being the hottest in the streets today and getting the freak athletes that UNC and Kentucky used to pull.

Duke went from flopping unathletic cacs like Greg Paulus to flashy nikkas with streetball handles(like Kyrie) and savage athletes who be catching bodies on the court and flexing on nikkas (like Zion Williamson)

The whole aura of blacks who play for Duke being " not really black" is long gone..... Especially when them Fab 5 nikkas had to bow down to Grant Hill.

not to mention that UNC hasn't produced any all stars since Vince and Antawn.

That last part is huge. Outside of the overall allure of going to Carolina, there really isn't any reason to go Carolina right now if you want to go pro. It's not like they don't recruit and land top 5 classes, they just failed to produce any good pros in years. Duke, Kentucky, Arizona and Kansas are getting people to the pros.

Edit: That said, had the NCAA stuff gone away at the right time, they probably get Brandon Ingram, so IDK.

Kids aren't using the same logic that grown men who cheer for or hate random college programs do.

These days every thing is simply a business decision or team up with your buddy to form a winning package deal type shyt.

Recently, Trae Young and Markelle Fultz should show this generation you don't need to go to the Kentucky, Duke, UNC and Arizonas of the world to get drafted or exposure.

If you're a legit NBA prospect you'll get drafted from anywhere honestly. So there's no logical reason the 3 best players in the country who also happen to play the same position, should go to Duke. If Zion was my son I'd push him elsewhere so he can have the ball in his hand more.

I'm surprised more kids don't go to UCLA or Michigan. UCLA for my own bias, but Michigan and Belien does nothing but produce great offenses. If I was a guard, Michigan would be high on my list.
