The problem with this is, players come into the league with some resemblance of a jumpshot and perimeter game, and they expand and fine-tune that; Zion came into the league with none of that shyt. Unless you have some developmental framework, then 99.9% of the time you won't add that to your game. And he's going to need a perimeter game if he's going to be a success and reach whatever his ceiling is, because this bully-ball shyt at 6"6' is only going to put food on the table for so long.Maybe we can wait until he’s played more than 40 or so NBA games before we say Zion isn’t a complete player. He has lots of time to develop a mid range, a catch and shoot three ball, dribbling with his off hand and a couple post counters.
I remember the same damn arguments for Ben Simmons when he first came into the league (and even he showed more a jumpshot than Zion did), and yet here we are in 2021, still talking about him not having a jumper....
