It might just be Pelicans sticking to the script. The plan was to be cautious during the first year and its still the first year. The bubble after a 5 month layoff is an unusual experimental situation so they are going to be just as cautious if not moreso.

Then the 48 second mark comes, and dude is still in his warmups on the bench, chilling

Dude is naturally big built and I don’t think any amount of weight loss will make him look acceptably thin to you guys. No homo, he has a really large ass/lower body for a male and it makes him seem larger than he is. He’s also knock kneed and has an awkward gait when he runs which gives off the impression his weight is affecting his ability to move but he’d run like that even if he was rail thin.
