It's sad that nikkas are tryna talk injuries on lil bruh.

Yall acting like this nikka just fat. This nikka is cut! This dude is Bo Jackson, Deion Sanders, Jordan, LeBron type of athlete. The same rules don't apply to him.
He is the most rare of rare athletes.

I honestly think he is a mix of Randle and Barkley with Westbrook athleticism

All these doom and gloom injury predictions for these athletic players (they’re doing the same thing in that Mac Mcclung thread) as if we’ve never seen any 180 pound injury prone jump shooters. Annoying...

There is no body type or skill set that is immune from injuries. Everyone gets hurt...
Lol at these fake colu armchair doctors

its hilarious they only way they woudl know if they are specifically injury prone is if they did a full in and out examination of said player.
look at brons size *pause* he has yet to have a muscular/ligament injury. some peopel got it some people dont. and ultimately it comes down to how these players are taking care of them self outside of the 48 minutes. bron said he spends millions a year taking care of himself. and im sure duke has the facilities to take care of him until he gets to the league.

frmo the espn+ docuseries so far Zion seems like he has his head on right and is focused on himself and his craft so wait and see

yall are strange trying to talk injury onto these KIDS!
It's less "doom and gloom" and more being realistic. There's a reason why all big men in the league have been cutting down over recent years to keep in tune with the pace and space game. Of course, no body type is immune to injury, but all the actions that are frequent in today's game, and the injury risk they carry are compounded by the weight you carry, especially when knee injuries are more prevalent than ever, and that joint/ligaments bear the majority of your body's weight. Since "coli doctors" don't know what they're talking about, perhaps you'll find advice from NBA trainers/coaches more palatable:
Mahinmi was given the all-clear to slim down in July, but started with lighter weights to take it easy on his knees. Losing weight also reduced the extra physical stress on his ligaments and joints when he ran, jumped, or landed.

“Someone like Nurkic—if he stays at a good weight, and he’s not fluctuating, he could add four, five years to his career,” Barto says. “He’s already had one injury,” he says, referring to the Blazers center’s broken right leg last March, “and the more weight you hold, the more you're banging your joints, and the more injury prone you're going to be.”

Players are now looking for ways to help them last—not just over the long haul of their career but over the course of a grueling 82-game season.

On Zion -

Finally, we touched base with an NBA assistant coach, who spoke off the record because he is not authorized to speak publicly on the matter.

"If you're playing 82 games at that weight, running up and down the floor, that's bad for his joints and it'll take a toll on him. I think he's going to struggle with a lot of things. If it were me, I wouldn't play over 260-to-265 pounds if I was 6-foot-7. In today's game, with every team getting out in transition, with more possessions than ever before, it's concerning if a guy is carrying that much weight."

Never caught up to Barkley though and he was fat not muscle
The game is different today - more running/covering distance, more jumping and moving at weird angles, more stress on your joints/ligaments etc. Not to mention, Zion is a lot more reckless with his body than Chuck ever was.

And yes, Chuck did battle with multiple lower body injuries throughout his career - I mean shyt, his career ended because he ruptured a tendon in his knee.

Everybody is saying he needs to lose weight. They said that about Zach Randolph too. I know he isnt as tall as zbo but hes just as physical which in the soft nda nikkas aint gonna want to deal with

zbo feet never leave the court though

zbo plays with minimal impact to his legs

zion has already had some time out in highschool with foot/leg issues

285lb & plays with a lot of bounce it's a fair question as to how he holds up over a nba schedule

some cats may never take a major injury but they are definitely putting damage on their body still even teflon.bron was walking around with a padded back brace just to sit down

ground reaction forces impact joints it's just an aspect of physics athletes have to deal with & the more running jumping & weight the more force in question

He played a long mostly healthy career. I agree to some degree but as long as he gets Brons trainers he’ll be fine.
