I don't know I thought I already talked about that in the thread, maybe I'm too high.
But straight line drives and left hand going left for a majority of his buckets might be a problem at D1.
Yeah I was thinking that shot would be perfect for him with the way coach K going to use him at Duke.

How do the holes in his game make him any different from 99% of NBA prospects every year?
Dude is doing tomahawks in traffic with his off-hand, but people act like he can’t eventually figure out how to finish layups that way.
Like lefty’s don’t piss off everyone because they go up in traffic with their strong hand when you think they’re gonna use the right and it fukks up your timing when you try to pin their shyt.
When he deals with talented defenders who won’t allow him to get that off, he’ll either adjust or stagnate. Same as the rest of his game. Same as every other top tier prospect.
Until then, let that young man cook.

He can finish layups with his off hand, I think it's more of him getting by his man that will be the problem. He is really predictable in the way he gets to his spots.
Contrast that to someone like Fultz who could get to any shot he wanted at Washington because he has such a large repertoire of moves. That's what I'd like to see from Zion, it's either that or he develops a nice jumper to make defenders respect him from deep. I don't think he'll be able to Derrick Rose and still be able to do that shyt without a jumper.

I've been watching Zion play for like the past year...
He was dominant in HS and he literally had the ball most of the time. He definitely can play off the ball which is why he had so many alley top plays in his highlight tape. He's easily the most exciting player to come out of HS since Lebron. If he was drafted now he would go top 10
People discredit this kids game so much... They will see. His jumper was always decent he just barely needed it. He gets most his buckets anytime he gets to the paint and he can get by mostly ANYBODY. If he can't get you on the drive he will get you in the post because this kid is so big, strong, fast and powerful that anybody will have trouble guarding him. If they're bigger than him then he will take them off the dribble and if they're smaller he will eat them in the post.
He's also been putting in HELLA work on that jumper all summer and it wasn't bad to begin with.
Dude is a ball hawk as well. If he's within 3 feet of the basketball 9/10 times he's going to get that mutherfukker some how. Defensively he's a ball hawk. I watched him and RJ Barrett play 1v1 last night and Barrett couldn't do ANYTHING against Zion. Zion was too strong and just as fast as Barrett. I didn't even know people actually put Barrett above him.
I think people gonna catch on quick with him. Just hope he gets to at least 6'9 and drops about 20lbs and thats it. a 45inch vertical at 285lbs is godly athletic

RJ is a great defender .. they put him on Alex Paquin to stop him from going off.. and although he is a tough shot maker... Zion was just too strong and looked liked the better player.
