Great sample choice by both of ya'll and both beats are put together very very well (Drum choices, Mix). @AkaDemiK really captured that hip hop soul vibe for me. That sax pass is ... @Zeu$ that sample is . I love the way you laced the drums over them and put everything together as a whole. That was pleasure to listen to. Salutations to both of ya'll. I rolled with AK on this one, was really feeling his vibe on this one.

My beat isn't really boom bap either, I've prolly done 1 or 2 real boom bap joints ever and I wouldn't consider this one of them... the drums may be hitting hard and dusty but the overall vibe isn't boom bap, so I don't think that played a part in here. Also, the battle is being promoted across the entire site unlike previous tourneys (that i'm aware of) so we are introducing new ears to this...ppl who may prefer my joint or yours....I don't think it's deeper than that.

Yeah I'm glad he edited that...I think both of you are GREAT in your lanes but not only that you are OVERALL great beat makers. And like you stated, ALL of the battle this round are flip flopping like crazy on the votes there are not any wrong choices this round.
