It makes plenty of sense if you think pollard is gone next season (which he probably is) and the right guy is thereTo me it does not make sense to tag a running back then draft one in the first round. We have bigger holes in positions we need to address in the first round.
If he’s at the top of the cowboys draft board at that point, what other choice do they have? Trade down?See I can never go against the best player available strategy, but you think a running back will be the best option by the time we pick?
If bpa and he is that high go for it. It will just mean we will have pollard on an expensive one year deal.If he’s at the top of the cowboys draft board at that point, what other choice do they have? Trade down?
The Dallas Cowboys made headlines after gaining Brandin Cooks from the Houston Texans and while many agree it's a good get for Jerry Jones' team, Colin Cowherd can't understand why Cowboys fans are dismissive of losing Amari Cooper, Kellen Moore and now really talented TE Dalton Schultz. Plus, Colin ranks the 6 NFL teams he felt made the best moves this offseason, a list that includes the aforementioned Texans, as well as a surprising pick in the Detroit Lions.
