Honestly...If I was one of those store owners...some white man that won the genetic lotto and managed to become the owner of a multi million/billion dollar clothing retailer and something like this happened I'd probably laugh it off cause there's more than enough black folk who will just continue to shop and frequent these establishments.

Since the whole John Crawford and Ferguson shyt...I haven't gone to Wal Mart since.
I threw out my favorite pair of Puma's cause I found out Puma is owned by a Nazi family
I don't drink Coors cause they sponsor many racist gatherings and funded many anti-affirmaive action programs.

Sometimes I feel like the most it would take for black people to stop supporting some of these racist companies is for them to say "we own you n*******s...we can treat you like garbage and you'll still shop here" or something to that effect for us to really get the point that they don't care about our business.

Its funny that these places are always profiling against black people. I work accounting in a grocery store so whenever they bring a shoplifter up my nosy ass is always trying to see what they look like. 9 times out of 10 i swear to you it is always an older white person. I dont know if the black people are just better at not getting caught but we cannot go a week with a white person trying walk out with free good. I find it especially funny when it's someone with money. I remember a while back they caught this older white man stealing fish, he would put them in his pants lol. Not cheap fish either the more expensive pieces of salmon. Like 16.99 a pound.
Anyway they finally caught him after like the third time and come to find out he's some super rich guy that our company used to purchase fresh fish from smh
These people come here in their benzes and hummers with their expensive clothing and jewelry on but wont pay 99cent a pound for some damn tomato.
Stealing is wrong but its way different someone doing it to survive then some bored rich perosn looking for a lil thrill.
It's ridiculous, cause despite all that i know that thy'll still keep the camera trained on the black guy with the dreads then the older white guy with his sperry loafers on.

NYC has been taking some serious Ls since 9/11/01.
increased racial profiling (stop and frisk, retail)
hypergentrification
homeless population increasing to it's max of 60,000 this year
inflated costs of living bouncing poor blacks and spanish folk to jersey, CT, and PA and the south...
getting whiter with out of state and country transplants coming in...and in turn more racism towards black and spanish folks.
establishments that have been open for decades closing damn near everyday to make room for another glass and steel box condo or a duane reade...

Man...I love this city but it's sad seeing this shyt happen right in front of my face.

NYC itself is one giant L..you cannot win there, its an illusion..

I was not impressed, and I lived there late 90s into the 20s, when it was supposed to be dope.
First bad experience was a dude we visited who stayed in a somewhat fancy but tiny 2 bedroom apt in Manhattan, and he was paying $3000.
Then it smells like hot garbage all over..eateries dumping their trash in the front street where it stays for days uncollected

The place is crawling with pigs with the licence and will to kill a Black man on sight

I wonder myself why more Blacks arent leaving that shyt hole..you'll find people are stuck there for superficial reasons. Like it doesnt go to sleep, which is total bullshyt.

The way I see it...once upon a time this city was more suited for blacks...but blacks really made many parts of NYC.

Now, with the reverse white flight and national trends towards anti-blackness...NYC is becoming an apartheid state.

People move and stay there because of the idea of NYC, the celebrity and hype of the place, the strong Black culture and history, which sadly is being erased since Rudy began the sterilization of NYC of Black culture and people..
Unless youre working a high powered gig, theres no point in being there..and most will die broke with no savings as the cost of living is too high and folks get caught up in the moment..
I could fukk with NYC again if there was p*ssy and strong weed on tap and no cops around, but thats not happening anytime soon so nah.

This one time I was being followed around in TRader Horn when I was in high school. I was 14. This middle aged white guy keeps on following me around literally getting up in my face with that fake cac smile they do for almost 15 minutes straight. I'm looking at CDs and this guy is like "do you want me to hold those for you at the front of the store?" I remember I literally had to tell this guy to get the fukk out of my face...as soon as I sad that, the guy just turned around with his back toward me and his head down and walked away...

You have traceable roots beyond the shores of the continental United States, and that right there puts you at a huge advantage over the vast majority of Blacks in the US..infact I dont think most realise how good you have it because of that..
