I don't know why Snyder gets so much hate...I may be one of the only ones who loved Watchmen, his Dawn of the Dead, and how he directed 300 (even though the story was fukked up); Dude is very talented as a director and Man of Steel had flashes of brilliance...where Man of Steel fell short was on the storytelling/script; Snyder did a great job directing though and I think he can handle Justice League
they need another another writer and director so this wouldn't come off as MOS 3

Visually speaking, it blew away Avengers. The only thing holding Avengers together was the interaction between the heroes and that's thanks to Whedon. He's good at that. He is not good at filming action sequences so I hope he brings someone in for Age of Ultron..

Wow bruh this just goes to show you that no one can really say shyt cause at the end of the day we all got different tastes and different standards. Cause it's amazing that we could watch both movies and feel so differently about them.

For me the action scenes in Avengers crushed MOS. Like it's not even close. And this is coming from a lifelong Superman fan.

:patrice: So..... :beli: just Man Of Steel 2 and then a Justice League Movie? :what: Nothing in between like a Green Arrow or Wonder Woman Movie? :why:
yeah dc is rushing this, they need to do what marvel did and that's properly introduce everyone with either thier own movies or big cameos in up and coming movies

they need to have a timeline like this

2015 - Man of steel movie - introduce new batman, have him cooperating with superman drop hints of a future alliance
2016- Green Lantern reboot this time with Jon Stewart (Idris Elba)
2017 - Flash movie with Wally west - introduce Cyborg
2017 - Wonder Women with Martian Manhunter getting some cameo
2018 - Aquaman movie
2020 - Justice League movie - Darkseid the villian

Or they could Double Up on Production with some more Directors & Producers than Ryder & Nolan and try to put in Work for 2 Movies a Year.:manny:

The problem is that WB as a studio can't put that much time/money/effort into one franchise. WB is more than just DC alone and a Marvel-style approach would force them to drop other projects, which they couldn't sustain given the existing contracts they have with multiple production companies. Marvel Studios' big advantage is that their only concern is Marvel movies and they can just pick whichever projects they feel feasible. Meanwhile DC has to convince the studio heads at WB that a Wonder Woman or Aquaman movie would make more money than say, a Pacific Rim sequel or a Will Smith blockbuster, and they'd need to do so for every movie, every year! Add that a movie like Man Of Steel was considered an 'under performer' because it didn't come close to the one billion expected from A-list superhero properties (Batman, Spider-Man, X-Men) and you can imagine that WB has little interest in pursuing a Flash solo movie with the risk it's going to end up gaining less than 500 million worldwide when they can develop three other movies that most likely will.

So do a Batman/Superman movie and then do a Justice League?

What about a GL, Wonder Woman, or Flash movies? Those are big names that deserve their own movies.

DC/Warner Bros just making nonsensical moves.:camby:

Sure, why not copy the Marvel route and make origin films that does nothing but promote Avengers?? There's nothing wrong with this movie.

I don't know if you could call it "nothing" seeing as the movie grossed over one a half billion dollars. The slow build played a huge part in that momentum. If that movie came out back in 2009 a year after the first Iron Man without any of the other solo films to lead into it then it probably wouldn't have made anywhere near that kind of guap.

Fact is Justice League is and always was a crossover event. Unlike the X-Men or the Fantastic Four which were INTRODUCED as teams, the Justice League was actually the culmination of the world's greatest superheroes. They weren't just a team, they were a SUPER team. So were the Avengers.

The Avengers movie was a crossover event. We spent 5 movies in that universe and got to know all sorts of people and see all sorts of places before we got to the team up movie. Justice League is taking the short cut and going straight for the kill without first establishing the foundation for it.

:what:

It's just back and forth punching and the CG looks like dogshyt. :mindblown:

The Hulk scenes alone were more jaw dropping.
