Snyder is a visual master. Outside of Cap 2 which stayed away from special effects as much as they could and crafted some nice action sequences... Snyder's Man of Steel was right up there, his action sequences in Man of Steel where unlike anything we had seen in this comic genre to this date. The way the Kryptonians were moving and striking was crazy.

The script for Man of Steel had a couple holes but I've explained many times on here how a lot of the criticisms were off base.

Also, I don't feel like the projects are being rushed. There's no need for a Wonder Woman film or any of that kind of setup. Nobody really needs to see the origin tales for this to be successful. Everyone knows Batman's origin, for example. No need to revisit that shyt.

Wonder woman would do business... Sometimes us dudes forget that we aren't the only ones that go to the theater and whatnot. I would even check it out if they get on some Game of Thrones mixed with the animated Wonder Woman movie (shyt was fire) type of thinking. I support the idea of a Wonder woman movie.

Edit: Diana deserves her own movie just as much as anybody else in the comic book world including Batman, Ironman, or Superman (Black Panther, Storm) :sas1:

Zack Snyder is a good director who creates amazing visuals and has one of the best track records of good movie to bad of any director working right now so anyone who is shytting on Snyder as a director is just a hater. You can hate dude as a scriptwriter (I admit he did a terrible job with Sucker Punch's script) but he is a good director.

Man, get the fukk outta here. Snyder is great with visuals but as a whole package he leaves a lot to be desired.

I doubt Wonder Woman would do big business. They tried with Green Lantern and before you say "well, Green Lantern sucked" ... it doesn't matter that it sucked because the opening weekend didn't even do great business and that's for a film that was in 3D.

Lantern and Wonder Woman would both cost a lot of money to do correctly, especially Green Lantern would need millions in special effects and like it or not he is not that big of a character in the mainstream to warrant a $150M+ budget + advertising. They would have to do it on the cheap and then people would complain because it "looks like shyt"

Listen, I'm more of a Marvel stan than DC and even I will admit that most of the solo movies in the Marvel lineup have been average or worse. The Iron Man sequels were a joke. Thor has been average at best. The love story between Natalie Portman and Thor has been terrible and they have no chemistry. Only Captain America has a great track record. Everything else is leading up to Age of Ultron and even then they haven't done a great job with the build during Phase II.

DC does not need to follow that plan to be successful. Everyone knows Batman and his origin and the side characters... I mean they can still introduce them in these movies. Hawkeye and Black Widow were never given solo films so why should the DC side characters need one?

Only guy I would like to see as a solo joint is Flash.

Its funny I was like "damn why is DC doing too much" then i remember

oh yeah

ITS DC.

I'm sure Justice League 2: CRISIS on MULTIPLE EARTHS and Justice League 3: ULTIMATE CRISIS [DEATH OF SUPERMAN and BATMAN] are already being planned now.

I don't know man for all of Snyder's "visual mastery" MOS kinda looked like ass in parts. Remember when it came to 300 and Watchmen he had a visual reference to work off of. With MOS they were tasked with coming up with an original aesthetic.

I dunno I see a lot of people rave about it but for me MOS was visually boring outside of a few select moments. And if you watch the movie again the CGI is real shoddy looking in a lot of scenes.

Do we get a martian manhunter? Aquaman? I wanna see who else fills out the team, and its a lot of people to introduce in 2 movies

Visually speaking, it blew away Avengers. The only thing holding Avengers together was the interaction between the heroes and that's thanks to Whedon. He's good at that. He is not good at filming action sequences so I hope he brings someone in for Age of Ultron..

Plus, the enemies... or should I say the faceless and nameless enemies in Avengers left a lot to be desired.

When did Snyder become Uwe Boll? Nerds on the internet want everything directed by scorcese, fincher, or nolan only :beli:
.
after the snoozefests that were Watchmen and man of steel(a top 3 least favorite movie of mine..probably #1)

he had a spark when he started (dawn, 300) but now he's just :trash:
