The reason I don't like it is it is a waste of a dramatic moment doing it with little to no build up. Same way they killed Supes in BvS. People weren't even sure they liked the character yet and they killed him? And then immediately teased his resurrection.

WB was so eager to push Batman vs Superman that we never saw much in Cavills character outside of MoS. They should done 2 separate movies each while introducing side characters or brief cameos before doing a movie together plus they put Gotham right across the lake from Metropolis.

Yea let me clarify I would’ve loved to see this over a span of about 10 years but trying to throw in plots from Injustice, intro Darkseid, sprinkles of Flashpoint, in a trilogy is just idiotic. Way too much too soon. Don’t know why they were in such a hurry.

It was like they tried to stick every possible popular story from the last 30 years into 3 movies.

Snyder tried to rush his films before folks started to catch on that Cavill isn't a good Superman and these aren't good films.

He got 2 and a half films done, before whoever was asleep at the wheel woke up. DC's been doing alright ever since.

Chris Evans would be a classic barry allen
Mark Strong would be a perfect lex
Joaquin phoenix as a traditional styled joker
I wanna say Chris Hemsworth would've been a perfect aquaman
And Jamie Alexander as wonder woman.


And @Art Barr had a fantastic choice for superman that I forgot.... He also said Jim Caviezel for bats which would be a great choice for an older one...

It didn't do anything for me. Just didn't sit right down in my soul.

No heart, no hope. Never felt like a Superman movie to me.

It traded on those qualities for stylistic flash in the pan sequences that don't hold up to subsequent viewings.

JUST MY OPINION.

Casino Royale is the reboot and modernization MoS wants to be but never manages to become.
