Edey will be fine. He has to just keep the ball high like Lopez does and he's either going to get fouled or score most of the time.

The Warriors were pouncing on the ball every time he dribbled or brought the ball down. That's an area he can and will improve on. He's a beast on the glass and he was deterring shots in the paint in that 4th.

Neither does BClark but you calling him your best defensive big :gucci:

He was the 4th option in Memphis. He was more important to yall success than yall think.

Because he is :pachaha:

Edey has a higher upside but Clarke doesn't get bullied against Butler the way Edey did.

You obviously don't watch Grizzlies games. Because anyone watching knew Dillon "I poke bears" Brooks was an actual detriment to our team, taking contested midrange jumpers 18 seconds left on the shot clock :mjlol:

Ppl are trying to shyt on him when he had 14 & 17 in his first "playoff" game ?

blame goes to the coach for putting him on Butler in an all time dumb move
I don't know why you're referencing box score numbers when he was grabbing boards against a small lineup and shot 4-11 against them. He had just as many turnovers as field goals.

He'll be 23 in a few weeks (to put into perspective Ant is 23 now), so it is alarming how raw he still is.

It should be expected that he's further along the timeline than he is, but that has a lot to do with Memphis not being able to utilize him properly.

He's a rookie in the NBA :beli:

How does Kuminga look after how many seasons with the Warriors? Are the Warriors utilizing him properly?

Except it's different when you have players like Castle who just turned 20 at the end of last year, and Edey who's essentially 23.

He should be a lot more polished than his class given he's further along in his development. 98% of players have already molded their game by that age, so you get a sense of what they're capable of, and it is alarming that he still looks like a fish out of water with the ball in his hands. I bet the folks who were losing themselves during preseason thinking he was the next great big man, would've thought he would be a lot better than he is now.

There are many folds as to why Kuminga hasn't grown into a star, and yes, there should be doubts over if he'll ever develop into one.

And the funny thing is, he's actually younger than Edey.

Go figure.

He had a rough game offensively to start, but bounced back.

He really isn't raw. His post game is very formed. Great touch with both hands. Runs the floor waaay better than anyone thought. He handles doubles, and passes out them pretty well. He shoots 3s at a good clip. If he's not right now the best offensive rebounder in the league, he will be shortly. Great screen setter. Obviously has his deficiencies in perimeter D, and if you try and stick him on someone like Jimmy, he's gonna get cooked, but he's been light years better than the Tacko or Boban he was projected as. He's not a #1 option, or future hall of famer, but he's absolutely a very good big with some special qualities

Definitely agree on your last point. Jenkins had him hanging out in the dunker spot all year , clogging up the lane and dragging the offense down at times.

I just don't think ppl should be shytting on him and ignoring that the gameplan laid out was idiotic. Sticking him on Jimmy was beyond nonsensical. He had a lot of bad touches near the rim in the first half, but acting like that's not what he's great at, and posting MJ smileys and saying he's a scrub (not you, your critiques are legit) is shyt posting
