I didn't agree with that article, however, to deny/ignore the schism that is growing between brothers and sisters is folly.
Marches in general are bad examples of everyday social voice, they are flashpoints, brothers marched for Sandra Bland too. What I will say, must be addressed is the specific issues that plague our sisters must be given credence.
Beyond proximity, and this is from both data and personal experience talking to sisters, in which threats both real and perceived, mostly come from black men. So to say that there is no issue whatsoever is just as silly as saying that black men have NO positive interactions with black women..
